❄️ Winter Sports Tryout Information ❄️
Getting ready to try out? Make sure these steps are complete:
✅ Submit a VHSL physical. Since May 1, 2025, FCPS student-athletes have been expected to use the revised VHSL Athletic Participation/Parental Consent/Evaluation Form. Turn in the completed form to the Activities Office or upload it through Final Forms.
✅ Complete Final Forms. A parent or guardian must complete the student registration. Need help setting up an account? Check out the Parent Playbook.
✅ Check whether you need the Transfer Gateway.
• Students in grades 10–12 who are new to Fairfax High School this year must complete the Athletic Eligibility and Transfer Gateway.
• Ninth graders who did not attend Katherine Johnson Middle School last year must complete it, too.
Transfer students cannot participate until their athletic eligibility has been determined.
