Two people are dead and two others are injured after a shooting in Moss Landing, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies, State Parks personnel and CHP officers responded to reports of gunshots in the Jetty Road area just before 2 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, the sheriff’s office said.
According to the sheriff’s office:
• Two people were pronounced dead at the scene. • A third person arrived at a hospital with a gunshot injury. Their condition was listed as unknown. • A fourth person was taken from the scene to a hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening. The statement does not say whether that person was shot.
The sheriff’s office has not identified a suspect or said what led to the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
