Don’t Hate The Groove

This Saturday we have a honour to bring @djastroblack on board. 🔥🔥🔥

DJ Astro Black is an American-born DJ, producer and vinyl collector based in Australia, with a deep
connection to reggae, dub and soundsystem culture.

A selector with an ear for a good record and a feel for the moment, his sets move through roots reggae,
dub, dancehall and the sounds that have shaped his musical journey.

His approach is instinctive, drawing
on years of collecting, listening and playing music for people.

Astro Black has performed internationally, including at Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival, Goa Sunsplash in India
and the Ulsan Music Festival in South Korea, alongside shows across Japan and Australia.

He is also co-founder of Astro Melody Records, an independent label operating between Australia and
Los Angeles, with a catalogue rooted in reggae and dub.

His interests extend beyond music into film, fashion and vintage culture, but vinyl remains a constant
thread throughout. For Astro Black, it’s about the records, the feeling and the connection that happens
when the right music meets the right people.

Catch Astro Black this Saturday at @ironandresingarage from 4:20pm.

Tickets available in my bio. 🎟️
