I’ve always loved to #sing, and while I’ve never considered myself bad, I’ve also never thought I was very good. And I truth be told, I wasn’t.

Sure, I could carry a tune, but I had no #control. So I stopped, at a very young age, frustrated because I didn’t understand the work needed to develope the talent I still don’t fully understand, but am curiously exploring now. Thanks #AuDHD🤣

Because recently I rediscovered just how much I LOVE to sing. I mean it’s been decades, but earlier this year, while bored and doing chores around the house. So I slapped on some of my favorite #millenial classics (@greenday ‘s Jesus of Suburbia is one of my favorite songs of all time) and started belting them at the top of my lungs, at a level I would place at “tolerable karaoke”🤣

And you know what, I ended up finding a way to both keep me engaged with my chores AND work on my core. Because as I kept trying out different songs, unashamedly singing day after day (my wife @a_vela12 is a saint🤣) I began to discover my range, to learn how to use my core, to switch between my gut and my head, and above all, to just have fucking fun. 😁
