A few pearls from my new book, Crying Out Loud, for anyone trying to find their way through grief ❤️‍🩹

There's so much about grief that can make us question ourselves.

The guilt over what we wish we'd done differently. The brain fog. The friendships that change. The strange feeling of no longer recognizing the person we used to be.

And then there's learning to let joy back in without feeling like we're somehow betraying the person we love and miss so much.

I want you to know that so much of what you're experiencing is a natural part of grief.

And there are things you can do to help yourself through it.

In Crying Out Loud, I bring together what I've learned in over 30 years as a therapist with what I've lived since my son died, along with spiritual insights, stories from other grievers, and nearly 100 practices and resources to help you navigate loss, stay connected to your loved ones, and find your way back to life.

You can order your copy wherever books are sold or through the link in my bio 🔗

Which of these passages speaks to you most?

All true and all incredibly helpful to read in print. Sometimes you wonder if what you’re going through in grief is normal.
