Get your shovels ready, Trees for UP is back! 🌳
Since 1982, this program has helped grow University Park’s tree canopy. In fact, we estimate that at least a quarter of the trees in UP came through the program!
Ready to put down some roots? Here’s what you need to know:
🌱 Choose from seven native tree species selected by the City Arborist.
📅 Order from November 6–December 4.
🚚 Parks staff will deliver trees in late January or early February.
🏡 Plant on your parkway or private property. Either you can plant your tree, or hire a contractor.
🌳 Each 30-gallon tree costs $750, with a limit of two per household.
Visit uptexas.org to explore the options and order when sales open. Remember to call 811 before planting on the parkway, and give your new trees plenty of care and water! 💧
