freshman year of high school i ran 1 mile and said NEVER again โ๐ well. . .here we are ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
my best friend is the only reason i got into running. watching him go all in made me enter the lottery for the United NYC Half, thinking โno way i get inโ. . .and, SURPRISE, i got in! ๐ณ๐ฑ
then a stress fracture took me out ๐ฆถ๐ผ๐ so i deferred my spot, and this time iโm actually doing it. i commit first and figure it out later ๐น
iโm documenting all of it: the slow runs, the complaining, the crying, and hopefully the wins.
who else swore theyโd never run? ๐๐ผ

The NYC Half lottery really said โyou run nowโ ๐ Rooting for you through the ordinary training days as much as race day!
