Every year black people across the country are found dead under “unexplainable” circumstances. The police improperly investigate, no charges are brought, and the victim’s families are left with no answers or justice. We see the mishandling of Nolan Wells’ case as one of many examples of this racist pattern. We know without true community control of the police this will continue. For true justice and accountability the people must demand better than the current racist system.
