Honestly, if I waited until I knew exactly what I was doing, I’d still be waiting.

There’s always something else to learn. Another question. Another reason to tell yourself, “Let me get a little more prepared first.”

But some things only start making sense once you actually try.

Post the offer. Send the email. Ask the question—even if you feel a little awkward doing it.

I’m still learning as I build, and I’m getting more comfortable saying, “I haven’t done that before, but I can learn.”

I want more freedom and stability for my family, and thinking about it isn’t going to get me there. I have to give myself a chance to be a beginner.
