I’m so glad I gave myself a chance. 🤍

A couple of years ago, I left my 9 to 5 to start my own business. There was uncertainty, and there have been setbacks, but I’ve never looked back. The freedom to make more time for my family has made that decision worth it to me.

Taking a chance on yourself can start small. Offer your first service. Learn a new skill. Put the idea you keep thinking about into motion.

You can be nervous and still take a thoughtful step forward. Confidence grows as you learn what you’re capable of.

To the entrepreneur wondering whether to begin: give yourself the opportunity to find out.

Save this for the next time fear talks you out of starting. Follow @theownerscopy for encouragement while you build.

Pay close attention to how you feel after certain conversations…

Do you leave feeling inspired or drained?

When you’re building a business, your circle matters. You need people who can dream with you, challenge your ideas and remind you that financial freedom is possible when progress feels slow.

Not everyone will understand your vision. Find the people who do. 🤎

Do you have people you can dream out loud with, or are you still looking for your circle?

If you’re building something of your own and sometimes feel like you’re doing it alone, you’re welcome here.

Follow @theownerscopy and comment so we can encourage each other!

The real dream isn’t luxury. It’s relief.

Relief from checking your account before buying groceries.
Relief from needing permission to take a day off.
Relief from wanting to help someone you love but not having enough.
Relief from lying awake wondering how everything will get paid.

As a small-business owner, that’s the financial freedom I’m working toward..

peace, choices, time and the ability to care for the people I love comfortably ♥️

What would freedom change for you first?

More peace?
More time?
Helping your family?
Finally living on your own terms?

Save this for the slow days, and share it with someone building for more than money.

I’m ready for more freedom, more stability, and more time with my family. So I’m leaving behind the habits that keep me in the same spot.

Still figuring it out, but I’m serious about doing things differently. Who else is ready? 🤎 by @theownerscopy

Don’t let a discouraging thought make decisions for the business you still believe in. 🤎

Honestly, if I waited until I knew exactly what I was doing, I’d still be waiting.

There’s always something else to learn. Another question. Another reason to tell yourself, “Let me get a little more prepared first.”

But some things only start making sense once you actually try.

Post the offer. Send the email. Ask the question—even if you feel a little awkward doing it.

I’m still learning as I build, and I’m getting more comfortable saying, “I haven’t done that before, but I can learn.”

I want more freedom and stability for my family, and thinking about it isn’t going to get me there. I have to give myself a chance to be a beginner. by @theownerscopy

I know you’re probably thinking, “How much longer am I going to keep doing this before something happens?”

You’re putting in the work, and you just want to see something come from it.

But don’t overlook what’s changing while you’re waiting. Things that used to take you hours are getting easier. You’re learning what works, what doesn’t, and what to try differently.

That counts, even if the sales haven’t caught up yet.

I’m still figuring it out too, but I’m not ready to give up on the life I want. So we’re going to keep showing up, keep making adjustments, and give ourselves a real chance.

Send this to your business friend. Tell them, “We’re still in this.” 🤎 by @theownerscopy

When it finally happens, I’ll know it wasn’t luck—it was God. 🙌🏽

He carried me through the slow seasons, the setbacks, the doubt, and every moment I wanted to question the process.

I’m still doing my part, learning, working, and staying consistent but I trust God with the timing and the outcome.

When the breakthrough comes, there will be no confusion about who made a way. 🤎🙏🏽

I still want everything I said I wanted. Sometimes you just need to get your head back in the game!

You ever have a few off days, then spend even more time being upset with yourself for being off? That’s exactly what I’m trying to stop doing.

Life happens. Business gets frustrating. Sometimes I get distracted or discouraged when things take longer than I hoped.

But I won’t allow a rough week distract me from my goals.

That’s when I pull out The Owner’s Reset. A few minutes of writing helps me sort through what’s getting to me and figure out what I need to give my attention to next.

I made this seven-day motivational journal for people like us—still serious about our goals, but needing a little encouragement along the way.

No more distractions.

Tunnel vision from here on out.

I want to get better at my craft. Be consistent. Actually follow through instead of letting somebody’s opinion throw my whole day off.

My goals have never changed…

I want stability, freedom, and more choices for my family, and that deserves all of my attention!

So I’m putting my energy back into learning, practicing, and doing the work even when there isn’t much to show yet.

Save this for the day you catch yourself giving a distraction more attention than your goals. We have things to do. 🤎 by @theownerscopy

Lately, I’ve had to catch myself….

I think to myself, “Has God not brought you through this before?” 😅

Because He has. So many times.

I care about my business, and I want it to work. But I’m not trying to spend every minute wondering what I should’ve done differently or stressing about what happens next.

I’m learning to do what I can for the day and leave it there. Make the call. Follow up. Try something different if I need to. Then go enjoy my family without feeling like I should still be working.

I don’t know exactly how everything will come together, but I’m trusting God as I figure it out. He hasn’t let me down yet. 🤎
