Week 300!! That's £150,000 we've given away together since we started, which is just amazing!
This week our cause was suggested by Alison Green:

Emma recently suffered a very sudden family bereavement and as a result now has her mum living with her, who has dementia. Emma has had to stop working to care for her, and as a freelance musician, this has had a massive financial impact. Not to mention how completely stopping work to care for a loved one can cut you off from the world, especially for an individual used to spending days making music with others. Our donation might not alleviate all of the financial pressure, but it is a gesture from 500 people looking to help, and I know that was appreciated by Emma.
