Guest room design with a denim blue ceiling | Mumbai home

A guest room should be super comfortable, but it’s also the one room where you can be a little experimental.

So we kept the walls and furniture in a calm ivory and coffee palette, and had fun with the ceiling instead. A soothing denim blue with a subtle texture, carried into the smaller details like the headboard straps and accessories.

The walk-in wardrobe is finished in mirror, so it never feels bulky, and everyone gets the full-length mirror they need. The mirror continues into the nook next to it, with a slim storage unit tucked in behind shutters.

Would you try a coloured ceiling at home? Tell us in the comments.
