This four day online workshop will integrate theory and hands-on bioinformatics practice, guiding participants through the complete workflow from Bacterial Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) to pan-genome construction and interpretation. 💡 The sessions will emphasize real-world applications in clinical diagnostics, antimicrobial resistance, and biotechnology industries.

𝑩𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑, 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆 𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒐:
- Understand how NGS data contributes to pan-genome studies.
- Perform basic genome assembly, annotation, clustering, and pan-genome construction
- Interpret gene presence/absence matrices and phylogenetic outputs.
- Apply concepts to case studies in clinical, research, and industrial contexts.
