Editorial layouts are easier than they look.
They start with the same pieces. Small caps at the top set the topic. A big headline grabs attention right away. A pull quote draws the reader in, and body copy carries the rest of the story. Leave plenty of white space around each piece, because that open space is what makes a page feel like a magazine. For the headline and pull quote, use a high-contrast display font like Clair d’Or, designed to be seen at large sizes. For the subhead and body copy, use a clean, legible sans like Eleven Eleven so everything stays easy to read.
Super simple!
