Gather the last of the plums from your local market and make this fruit chaat while you still can! The recipe is in Padma’s All American, but I’ll tell you what spices I use for the simplified chaat masala: cumin seeds, salt, anchor, and chile powder. It’s delicious as a dessert or snack, but you could also use this plum chaat as a condiment for fish.
