Religion should never be used as a shield against ethical reflection.
The question isn’t simply whether your religion permits something. It’s whether the beings affected by your choices have interests, feelings, relationships, and a desire to live.
Animals are not resources. They are not ours to own, control, breed, confine, or kill simply because you believe we’re entitled to them.
Permission is not the same as justification. Tradition is not the same as ethics. And convenience is not a moral right.

So on point. Religion is such a dangerous concept which people abuse to justify basically anything even exploiting real animals. True respect for God? Veganism as the bare minimum.
