Nalin & Kane - Beachball ::: FFRR ::: 1998
Originally released in 1997, Beachball is one of the defining tracks of the late-90s electronic music era. German DJ and production duo Nalin & Kane, made up of André Nalin and Harry Kane, created a record that perfectly captures the feeling of summer, freedom and unforgettable nights.
With its iconic sun-soaked melody, Beachball blends uplifting trance with a laid-back Balearic atmosphere.
I’ve never really thought about this in too much detail, but I suspect that Beachball was one of the tracks that started my love affair with trance music. I’d just left school in the summer of 1998, and was starting college, going out to parties and can remember this being played absolutely everywhere at the time.
A massive club favourite that crossed over into the mainstream, becoming a timeless classic played on dancefloors around the world.
Pure 90s magic! 🎶
💿 A track that never gets old.
