"I'm proud to be a part of that group that [...] revolutionised rugby league in the Pacific." The incredible 4x RLWC Lock for Tonga, Vaai "Jason" Taumalolo, spoke to ABC Pacific about the memorable decision to play for Tonga that changed the game forever. Rugby league veterans turned Team Tonga staff, John Hopoate and Konileti Hurrell, emphasise his impact on the game, and what he means for Tonga and the Pacific Islands. Catch Tonga's first match against England this Saturday at 8:05PM AEST, Perth Rectangular Stadium.
Less than 24 hours after closing out the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles, Taylor Swift is back at Arrowhead Stadium cheering on her husband as the Chiefs host the Chargers. On Saturday night, Taylor capped Hollywood’s star-studded fundraiser with a four-song set, introduced by Conan O’Brien. It was her first full-band performance since the Eras Tour, and it included the first-ever live performance of “The Fate of Ophelia,” along with “Blank Space,” “Love Story” and “I Knew It, I Knew You,” her song from Toy Story 5, which is eligible for Best Original Song at the Oscars. By Sunday afternoon she had traded the gown for Chiefs red, with Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark and longtime friend Este Haim joining her in the suite. Caitlin has watched with Taylor before, at the January 2025 playoff win over Houston and at last October’s Sunday Night Football game against Detroit. The Chiefs came in 4-0 and fresh off their bye, facing a winless Chargers team. Travis rolled his right ankle on the opening drive, got it taped on the sideline, and was back on the field for the very next series.
“Your family can’t help you...” 💔 @evypoumpouras explains why constantly asking other people for advice can stop you from developing your own instincts. She believes it’s better to make the wrong decision yourself, learn from it and become more confident in your ability to choose. The more you trust yourself, the stronger your gut instinct becomes. You can’t build confidence in your decisions if you never make them yourself.
