I got up early this morning, I was awake before the sun came up and the chickens got up. But not before Sven, who likes to sit on my chest in the mornings if he thinks I’m taking too long to make breakfast. I’ve got friends coming over to help me with my workshop later so I picked some vegetables for soup for lunch. It’s four years today since my mum died but I like to think she’d be proud of - and let’s face it, probably baffled by - the person I’ve become. She’d like the soup. And the chocolate chip cookies I’ve baked, even if they are vegan 😉💚
JEFF KOINANGE MUST APOLOGIZE!! I want to tell Kenyans that Jeff Koinange does not seem to value poor people around him. I don’t know whether it’s because he was born into a wealthy family, but even the way he looks at someone gives the impression that he judges people based on their appearance and social status. Even hosting someone in his Jklive show that person must be of a specific social class . So shameful so embarrassing so frustrating. He pushed this young man aside because he didn’t seem like a rich kid, and that was embarrassing to watch. Every person deserves respect, regardless of their financial status or background. Young man, keep pushing! One day, Jeff Koinange might be the one looking for you to host him. Never allow anyone to make you feel small because of where you come from. Your background does not determine your future.
