The day Kaitlin flew in from Texas to spend the day recording Fight For Love. Was a special moment to witness how powerful her voice is.
. . . #hemamalini #instantbollywood #ak

If you’re from Bihar or UP, you’ll know how exciting it is to spot nenua away from home. I found some at a vegetable shop in Bangalore the other day and was overjoyed. I ended up making both sabzi and chutney, and this is the nenua chana made at my home. My mom has always made it with boiled chana, which is the version I grew up eating. Ingredients 📌 2 medium nenua, peeled and chopped 📌 1 cup boiled kala chana 📌 1 small onion, finely chopped 📌 1–2 green chillies, chopped 📌 1 tbsp mustard oil 📌 1 tsp jeera 📌 1 dried red chilli 📌 A pinch of hing 📌 1/2 tsp haldi 📌 Salt to taste Method 📌 Heat mustard oil in a kadhai. Add jeera, dried red chilli, hing and green chilli. Let it splutter. 📌 Add chopped onion and sauté for a few minutes until softened. 📌 Add the boiled kala chana and fry well. Traditionally, soaked raw kala chana is used here, but in my home, we’ve always used boiled chana. 📌 Add the chopped nenua, salt and haldi. Mix well. 📌 Cover and cook for a few minutes. Nenua releases enough water on its own, so there’s no need to add any extra water. 📌 Once the nenua is cooked, serve hot with parathas, roti or dal chawal.
A little luck goes a long way. 🐈‍⬛
