In the city’s shadows, where the streets come alive, I’m a thug with a swagger, but I thrive on the vibe. With a grin on my face and a heart full of cheer, I’m the tough guy who’ll laugh when my crew’s gathered near. Got my cap tilted low and my kicks laced tight, But don’t be fooled, I’m a goofball at night. I flex with the best, but I crack silly jokes, In the heat of the moment, I’m the king of the pokes. I roll with my squad, we’re a wild, crazy crew, But we’re not just about toughness; we’re loving it too. With a dance in my step and a jest on my lips, I’ll challenge the world with my humorous quips. I’m the one who can hustle, but I also can play, In the heart of the struggle, I find joy in the fray. With a punchline or two, I lighten the load, In a world full of chaos, I’m the laughter bestowed. So here’s to the thugs with a goofy side shine, Who wear their tough armor, but still sip on that wine. Life’s a wild ride, and I’m taking it slow, With a heart full of laughter, I’m the thug in the glow. by @paaydaae
**In Silent Shadows** In a quiet house, where echoes dwell, An only child, with a heart to tell, Of laughter shared and dreams entwined, A bond so deep, a love defined. But shadows crept with a silent breath, As cancer came, a thief of death, I watched her fight, her spirit bold, In her warm embrace, a love untold. With every tear, a lesson learned, In the flicker of hope, my spirit burned, She whispered strength in her final days, And taught me to rise from the darkest haze. Now I carry her light within me, Guiding my heart, setting it free, Through every challenge, every strife, I honor her memory, I cherish this life. In her absence, I find my way, To be a better person, come what may, With kindness as my guiding star, I strive to love, no matter how far. For in each act of love I show, Her spirit dances, her warmth will glow, An only child, but never alone, In my heart, her legacy has grown. So here I stand, with courage anew, A testament to love, strong and true, Though cancer took what I held dear, In her memory, I persevere by @paaydaae
