🟥 Pace recently welcomed members of the Kuwait Green Building Council (KGBC) to One64 for a tour focused on sharing knowledge and exploring how sustainability has been integrated into the building from the very beginning.

The visit came at an especially meaningful time, as One64 recently achieved LEED Gold certification, celebrating the collective effort behind this milestone.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to a valuable exchange of knowledge and experience.

Design has always been central to our practice and remains an integral part of our ethos.

We always develop concepts for competitions and client proposals that challenge ideas, explore new possibilities and push the boundaries in our approach to design. This collection highlights a selection of unbuilt projects that reflect upon our commitment to creativity, technical expertise and thoughtful design.

They are a reminder that every design contributes to the way we think, the way we create and the projects that follow.

As the world turns its attention to the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final, we are revisiting Sabah Al Salem Stadium, a design commissioned by the Public Authority for Sport in 2016 and developed as a vision for the future of football in Kuwait.

A multiple award-winning project, Sabah Al Salem Stadium was most notably recognised with the Best Future Stadium Design award at the World Stadium Congress Awards 2019 for its approach to creating a contemporary and multi-functional sporting venue.

The design reimagines Al Arabi Sports Club main stadium, increasing capacity from 17,000 to 30,000 seats while preserving the existing site footprint. Defined by a compact seating bowl and a continuous architectural form, the stadium was carefully integrated within the context of an established residential neighbourhood. The planning strategy addresses the site constraints through an efficient and coordinated approach, shaped by close collaboration between our architectural and engineering teams.

The design represents a vision for a new generation of sporting facilities in Kuwait, reflecting the potential of future large-scale sports developments.

From a cherished urban landmark to a renewed destination for the future, the transformation of Al Muthanna reimagines one of Kuwait City’s most iconic commercial and cultural destinations for a new generation.

Rooted in the heritage of the original complex, the redesign carefully balances preservation and progress, introducing contemporary architectural interventions while retaining the spirit and identity that made Al Muthanna a lasting part of Kuwait’s collective memory. The project revitalizes the experience of the destination through integrated public spaces, refined retail environments, enhanced circulation, and a renewed relationship between architecture, landscape and city life.
