POSTS STORIES REELS

We’re opening PADV’s Healthy Boundaries series with a simple reminder: you deserve to be heard, respected, and safe.

Respect looks like this: room for your voice, your choices, and your boundaries.

Needing time to yourself, choosing what you share online, or keeping your passwords private are everyday examples of boundaries.

Respect also shows up in the response: “Thanks for telling me. I’ll respect that.”

Someone else’s harmful behavior is never your responsibility to prevent by finding the perfect words.

Save this introduction and follow along as we explore healthy boundaries in everyday life.

As October comes to a close, our commitment to survivors continues.

To everyone who wore purple, shared a resource, volunteered, donated, or made space for a conversation: thank you. You help build a community where survivors are heard, respected, and supported.

Carry that commitment forward. Learn what healthy relationships look like. Respect boundaries. Stay connected with PADV for education and ways to help throughout the year.

Your digital life should be yours. 💜

Pressure to share passwords, unwanted tracking, or access to private messages without permission can be signs of digital abuse. You deserve privacy and choice.

If you are concerned about monitoring, consider seeking support on a device the person has not accessed and cannot access. Changing passwords, settings, or location access can alert the person; an advocate can help you plan.

PADV’s 24-hour Crisis Line: 404-873-1766.

Part 1 of 2: Recognize the signs. Part 2 explores safer next steps.

Introducing PADV’s Next Chief Executive Officer.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Partnership Against Domestic Violence, we are proud to announce the selection of Charel Palmer as our next Chief Executive Officer, effective November 9, 2026.

Charel brings extensive executive leadership experience spanning organizational transformation, operational excellence, people strategy, and community engagement. Her leadership experience, combined with her commitment to PADV’s mission, uniquely positions her to guide the organization forward.

As we welcome Charel, we also look ahead with renewed energy and purpose. Together, we will honor PADV’s legacy, strengthen our organization, deepen our partnerships, and expand our impact for survivors and families across our community.

We are excited about the leadership, vision, and momentum Charel brings to this next chapter.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Tanya Uherka, Soon Ventures, for her leadership and commitment during the transition. I am equally grateful to our Board of Directors for their service, strategic stewardship, and dedication to positioning the organization for a strong future.

My appreciation also extends to CALIBRATE for leading a thoughtful, rigorous, and integrity driven executive search process, ensuring PADV’s mission and future remained at the center of every decision.

Please join us in welcoming Charel Palmer.

Same Mission. Next Chapter.

Earlier this month, our Mosaic Georgia team joined the community for the Dash 4 Domestic Violence Awareness 5K! 💜 Our staff had a great time participating alongside so many others who came out to support this important cause.

Domestic violence affects individuals and families throughout our community, and events like this help bring attention to the issue, encourage conversations, and remind survivors that support is available.

A special thank-you to the Gwinnett County Solicitor’s Office @solicitorlisamariebristol for hosting this event and for their continued support of Mosaic Georgia! We’re grateful to once again be one of three nonprofit beneficiaries, alongside @padvatlanta and @ahimsahouse .

Thank you to everyone who ran, walked, volunteered, and helped make this event possible! 💜 by @padvatlanta
