📜 Introducing our 2026 legislative priorities 📜

2026 is projected to be one of the more difficult years for farmers in recent memory. As the challenges that farmers face continue to mount, Pennsylvania Farm Bureau remains firmly committed to representing the interests of all Pennsylvania farmers in Harrisburg and Washington, D.C.

Our legislative priorities are determined at the local level by our county Farm Bureaus. While the following issues have been selected as legislative priorities, we continue to advocate for agriculture as a whole, including issues beyond these key topics.

We look forward to partnering with legislators at the state and federal level to achieve our goals, and advance Pennsylvania agriculture in 2026!! 🌽

**Priorities have been listed in alphabetical order**

Policy development is at the core of Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.

Today, the PFB State Policy Development Committee finalized policies that will advance to the Annual Meeting, where members from across Pennsylvania will vote on adopting them as official PFB policy.

The nearly 400 member-created policies reviewed today will shape the future of Pennsylvania agriculture — addressing a range of issues from data center development to environmental regulations.

Once approved, these policies will guide PFB’s advocacy efforts on behalf of Pennsylvania farmers. by @pafarmbureau

If you farm, you should vote.

Decisions made at every level of government can significantly impact our farms and ranches. It's important to have a voice in choosing the people who make those decisions.

Make a plan to vote today — make your voice heard.

Agriculture extends well beyond the fence row.

Pennsylvania is home to some of the most abundant forests in the country. Over 16 million acres of forestland contribute $21.8 billion to the state's economy.

Through improved forest management and harvesting practices, our forests have never been more productive — supplying us with housing, fuel, and even food! 🏡

This National Forest Products Week, we celebrate the famed forests of Penn's Woods — and all they provide us with.🌲 by @pafarmbureau
