Back from my first Grand Caraibes Show Jumping Competition! We were hosted by A.E. La Martingale/Centre Equestre La Manade in Guadaloupe last weekend and I was paired with adorable pony Vroum Vroum, who led me to Overall Champion in the Classement Espoir (0.80m and 0.85m). The Suriname team allowed me to ride under their flag, and we competed with teams representing the Bahamas, French Guyana, Guadaloupe, Jamaica, and Martinique. So grateful to @ponderosa_equestrian_center for the warm welcome to their team and amazing coaching, and @caribbeanequestrianacademy and @krequestrian for helping me prepare for my second jumping show! Thank you to @pictuuuures._ for capturing incredible photos and videos! by @pagetr_eq

We are so incredibly proud🥇🤍

In her first-ever show jumping competition, our rider Paget Rytter went to the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida and WON! 1st place out of 27 in the WEC $500 Novice Junior Jumper Classic, and 3rd out of 35 earlier in the week. All of this in a discipline she had never competed in before, stepping out of her hunter/equitation world and rising to the occasion completely.

Watching Paget grow has been one of the greatest joys. To be part of the team, alongside Raishun Burch & @caribbeanequestrianacademy and Addison Reed, that helped prepare her for this moment means everything. This is exactly why we do what we do!

Equestrian sport in Bermuda and the Caribbean is in good hands, and we are just so grateful to play a part in grooming the next generation of riders in a sport we love with our whole hearts. 🇧🇲🐴

Paget, we see you. Keep going. The best is still ahead. 💫
