Leg 1 of tour recapppppp! some lovely pics from @cine.demartini 🪩 so many incredible performances from mr rollo getting those good vibes goin, still so sad i missed him this time around, mark my words ill see him soon. lots of silly vibes on tour and beautiful guitar jams on the road. can’t wait to see the boys on leg 2 🌀💐 by @palaceflorals

As @wearepalace make their way through the US on a tour which sees them perform in a cave for the first time (read the full interview for more on that), we explore the story and recording process behind 'Kicking Up Shadows', the Bonnie & Clyde-inspired seventh track off the British band's new album, 'Ox'.

Written with characters in mind, it marks the first time Palace have strayed away from 'personal experience' in their resonant songwriting, and the result is a track that blends nostalgia with optimism in a wonderfully desert-y way.

You can find the full interview with Leo and Rupert up on the TOPNOTE website now - link in bio 🔗

OX IS OUT NOW!!! ⛰️🍀🌷🌲☁️

The long awaited 5th album from the boys is finally here. I’m am absolutely blown away from this record. It is so classic Palace yet sounds so different for them at the same time. This album will stand timelessly i just know it. The messages in the lyrics, the sounds, the emotion they’ve captured is just unmatched.

I’m also not sure how palace have this sixth sense of releasing music that is so in line with my own personal life. like it’s genuinely every single release, i connect to these songs so deeply. they are in my brain, there is no band or artist like them. i hope the entire band and everyone who made this come to be feels so incredibly proud. this album is perfect, thank you for soundtracking our lives @wearepalace @leowyndham @mrmatthodges @jenskuross @harryjdeacon @adam_jaffrey 💐💗 by @palaceflorals
