🌍📚 A NEW CHAPTER IN MY TEACHING JOURNEY! I’m excited to share that I’m taking my passion for teaching a step further through the TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) online course with Teacher Record. As someone who values learning, personal growth, and sharing knowledge, this experience is helping me build the skills and confidence to teach English to learners from different backgrounds and cultures. For me, teaching goes beyond the classroom. It is about communication, connection, and creating opportunities for people to grow. I’m looking forward to learning more, developing my teaching skills, and exploring new opportunities in the world of English language teaching. 🌏✍️ A big thank you to Teacher Record for being part of this journey! Are you interested in teaching English online or exploring international teaching opportunities? Let’s connect and learn together! teacherrecord (e.g., teacherrecord.com). #TeacherRecord #TEFL #OnlineLearning #EnglishTeaching #ProfessionalDevelopment by @pamlens
While others mark the calendar and step away from work, you kept going. Not because you had to, but because something inside you refuses to stay quiet. You are the one who sees what others overlook. You turn ordinary moments into meaning, ideas into stories, silence into expression. Even when the world scrolls past your work in seconds, you still show up, still create, still give a piece of yourself every single time. There are days it feels unseen. Days it feels like it is not enough. But history has never been built only by those in the spotlight. It is shaped quietly by people like you who keep creating, keep pushing, keep believing when no one is clapping yet. Every design, every photo, every word, every frame you bring to life is a mark on the timeline of this world. You are not just working, you are documenting, shaping culture, preserving moments, and inspiring people you may never even meet. Your work matters more than you think. Your voice carries further than you know. And your consistency is writing a story that time will not erase. Today is a reminder, not just a celebration. We see you. We value you. We are better because you chose to create. Happy Workers Day to every creative out there. Keep going. The world is already different because of you. Above Ibadan — A Bird’s Eye on Bower’s Tower Soar with me over Bower’s Tower, one of Ibadan’s most iconic lookout points, standing quietly on the hilltops of Oke-Are since 1936. From up here, you don’t just see a monument — you see a whole city stretch out in layers: 🏙️ The winding streets of Ibadan 🌳 Patches of green trying to hold their own 📍 And this 60-foot tower, still holding watch after all these years Originally built as a colonial survey point, Bower’s Tower now serves a different purpose — a place to reflect, to see further, to remember where we’ve been and dream about where we’re going. Drone views unlock that story in a way nothing else can. It’s not just footage. It’s perspective. #IbadanFromAbove #BowersTower #DroneNigeria #AerialAfrica #IbadanCity #TravelNigeria #HeritageSites #DronePerspective #OyoStateDiaries #NigerianLandmarks #DroneView #Ibadan #dji #drone #tourism by @pamlens
Bower’s Tower | The Hill That Watches Ibadan ⁣ High above the city, where the noise fades and the breeze carries stories, stands Bower’s Tower — a monument of memory, mystery, and meaning. ⁣ Built in 1936 in honor of Captain Ross Bower, this 60-foot tower sits on the highest hill in Ibadan, quietly watching over generations. From its top, you don’t just see the city—you feel it. Rusted rooftops. Red soil. Resilience. ⁣ This short documentary takes you up the winding staircase, into the soul of one of Ibadan’s quietest legends. ⁣ 🎞️ Shot on location in Oke-Are 📍 History. Culture. Elevation. ⁣ Tag someone who’s never been to Bower’s Tower. Let them see Ibadan from the top. ⁣ #BowersTower #IbadanChronicles #NaijaDocumentary #NigerianHeritage #ExploreIbadan #YorubaHistory #OkeAre #CityFromAbove #WestAfricanStories by @pamlens
The Cocoa House 📍Dugbe, Ibadan — Where Legacy Touches the Sky Rising 25 stories above the heartbeat of Ibadan, Cocoa House isn’t just a building; it’s a bold reminder of what visionary leadership looks like. Completed in 1965 and commissioned in 1966, it was the first skyscraper in West Africa. At 105 meters, it still stands tall as the highest building in Ibadan — built entirely from the proceeds of cocoa, back when the Southwest was rich in both land and leadership. This wasn’t just about height. It was about pride. It was about saying, “We can build something great, from the ground up, with what we have.” From housing offices to broadcasting stations, Cocoa House has weathered decades of change — including a fire in 1985 that almost took it all. But like the region it represents, it rose again. Why does it still matter today? Because it’s a physical legacy of self-reliance, regional prosperity, and cultural ambition. Because our past still has the power to inspire the future. Let Cocoa House remind us: 🏛 Greatness is possible. 🌱 Wealth can come from our soil. 📍 And legacy is built brick by brick. #Ibadan #CocoaHouse #YorubaHeritage #NigerianHistory #ArchitectureLegacy #DugbeIbadan #OldWesternRegion #PrideOfIbadan #NaijaHistory by @pamlens
National Stadium, Surulere — Once a Temple of Triumph, Now a Ghost of Glory There was a time when this place roared. When drums thundered and voices shook the sky. When Nigerian heroes like Stephen Keshi, Chioma Ajunwa, and Mary Onyali made history under the blazing sun. When Surulere wasn’t just a name — it was the heartbeat of Nigerian sports. Built in 1972, the National Stadium Surulere once stood as a proud symbol of our unity, strength, and sporting excellence. It hosted the 2nd All-Africa Games in 1973, AFCON '80, and numerous national moments that deepened the green and white colours in our hearts. With a capacity of over 55,000, it was a cathedral for the beautiful game and a stage for national pride. But today… She sits in silence. Cracked. Overgrown. Forgotten. A monument to neglect rather than national pride. This is more than just a call to renovate a stadium — it’s a call to reignite a legacy. To invest in our youth, our athletes, and our collective memory. #sports #stadium #Athletes #NationalStadiumLagos #NigerianHeritage #BringBackTheRoar #PrideOfAfrica #SportingLegendsLivedHere by @pamlens
