Some days you just need to find the sunshine! ☀️ by @pamtoque8
My annual reminder that Japanese beetles may look pretty but they destroy plants, flowers and rose bushes. If you see them on your flowers, flick them into a bucket or jar of soapy water and cover. Do not squish them….they release a pheromone that will attract more. Even if you’re not a gardener you can help your neighbours by hanging a Japanese beetle trap along a fence (away from any gardens). I went out this morning to harvest some dahlias, many blooms were destroyed and I found a few Japanese beetles hiding in the petals. They leave behind their waste. No one wants a bouquet of beautiful flowers with holes and beetle poop. by @pamtoque8
