2025 Medicines from a year of miracles mirrored with loss. I look back and am curious about how few photos I took of myself. How haggish and luteal, shedding and grieving feels. How untamed and liberating. How beautiful could it be to wear a bad haircut, a face full of scars, and a body that lets go so I could heal. The initiatory path is always unfolding when we choose to be a woman. The seed of Yang is planted after the winter solstice, for brighter days are sure to return. Light will be waiting for us after our descent into the darkness of our Yin, for it is she that anchors our capacity to hold it all. And oh how we mustn’t deplete her in a world that begs us not to rest. by @pamutayo
Feeling is the longing of our forgotten self’s return. This month I wrote a piece for @cecmeditate : a Fractal Analytic of Loneliness. Me, lately, shortened and extracted for brevity and concision, in less than 2000 words. This is an invitation to read, engage, feelβ€”always feelβ€”and reach out. Link in bio πŸ€“ by @pamutayo
Influencial fragments from home; hardly a monoculture as would be suggested in the West. Nuwa and Fuxi: serpent dyad, man/woman, brother/sister, yinyang, birth of 10,000 things Shennong: the divine farmer with transparent skin and horns on his head; original materia medica Oracle bones: divination and consultation with the tortoise shell, a reminder we are parcel of Great Mystery Tripitaka and the Monkey King: a transmission of the Silk Road, embodied 5 elements, and Heart Sutras @gizaadaa πŸ“Έ by @pamutayo
Lately: Invested much time, money, and psycho-psychel-somatic leaps-of-faith into healing intergenerational wounds, people-pleasing, and a crippling fear of public shaming and abandonment/betrayal by neighbors, friends, and family as a complex result of cultural erasure, a feudal-fascist dictatorship, and superficial socialism living in my body, only to find that it took 2 generations to flee into the arms of an emerging replica, and it’s all intra-generational now, and it’s a privilege to publish my thoughts, and our collective elixir remains in plain sight: the temples of our bodies, our language, our elders #gaspingforbreath #spoileralert πŸ“Έ @gizaadaa by @pamutayo
Another AGM wrap up with this crew. I love the Kitikmeot so much. I am in awe each passing year at the knowledge, wisdom, and heart here. Stole this pic from Anthony Anguttitauruqβ€”happy birthday fellow Scorpio πŸŽ‚ by @pamutayo
How The Scientific Method Influences Wellness with Pamela Wong - July 29th Today’s episode, featuring the brilliant and hilarious Pamela Wong, is an exploration of some of the ways that we can question and decolonize the practice of yoga. Our ways of thinking are highly informed and shaped by the scientific method and the primacy of objective knowing rather than valuing subjective experience. This is a wild romp through the fields of philosophy, scientific method, colonialism and more so strap the F in. Pamela Wong is a yoga and meditation teacher, a community organizer who has worked in and with communities in remote northern Canada for more than fifteen years and a holder of a doctorate in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Toronto. Pam holds and inhabits both Western and non-western identities and models in her approach to work, life and community and she’s a damn good yoga teacher and i’m lucky to have her as a friend and colleague. @pamutayo by @pamutayo
Out here doom scrolling, looking for answersβ€”thirsting for answersβ€”only to be triggered into quicker scrolling, manic scrolling, panic scrollingβ€”only to realize attention is our prayer and reclamation is the only answer. And I’m mad. by @pamutayo

Thoracic extension: May we bow towards the unseen behind us so that we can open up our hearts. Shadowy spirits appear when I explore scapular mobility and it sucks but I find myself being drawn to the inquiry again and again. And good god, even teaching it. Cheers to yog and my Saturday morning friends you teach me how to find eternity in an hour @mosaicyogato by @pamutayo
