🎤✨ ¿Cómo se dice?

Having a dual-language program means bilingualism is more than something we teach it’s part of our everyday learning! 💚💙

Our students are building confidence, making connections, and putting their Spanish skills into action one “¿Cómo se dice?” at a time. 😄🗣️

MIL GRACIAS @fwc26philly @muralarts @lifeatvanguard @airbnb and Philadelphia Soccer for giving our students the incredible opportunity to help paint a FIFA World Cup mural that reflects the talent, values, and spirit of our community.

This project was more than art; it was a chance for our students to share their voices, creativity, and pride with the world. The FIFA swag and Vanguard Kindergarten readiness toolkits were appreciated. It’s an experience they will always remember, and we are grateful to everyone who made it possible! ⚽🎨🌎

Philly Passport club is about exploring the great city that makes us the Philadelphians that we are today 🧭

📍Cherry Street Pier, we interacted with artwork that was larger than life and even got to meet a Philly-based author and illustrator Mr. Shawn @Pyroglyphics1

📍 Race Street Pier, lounged directly under Philadelphia’s 100 year old bridge named after a Philadelphian inventor, Mr. Benjamin Franklin

📍 Penn’s Landing, last we walked the Delaware River walk to see the worlds oldest 4-mass ship, The Moushulu! by @panamcs2008

🧡🧡 BE A BUDDY, NOT A BULLY! 🧡🧡

Our students and staff came together wearing ORANGE to show their support for National Bullying Prevention Month! 🧡 Together, we’re raising awareness, spreading kindness, and reminding everyone that the little things we do can make a BIG difference.

Before a mural becomes part of the neighborhood, it takes shape in the studio, through creativity, collaboration, and the work of bringing an idea to life. 🎨⚽

Meet “Love of the Game”, a mural designed by Nilé Livingston (@nilelivingston) in collaboration with students and the community, with support from lead painting artist @donnagracekroh. Featuring two young soccer players in motion, it celebrates the sport's joy and the cultures and communities that make Philadelphia home.

Created in partnership with @fwc26philly, the mural connects a love of soccer with the power of making art together. This behind-the-scenes look follows its journey from the studio to the wall.

Take a closer look at the process, the collaboration, and the people behind Love of the Game.
