One year ago; Toast x Weird Science x That ‘70s Show 💥 Never got around to sharing these photos but this was a huge production from the end of 2024 in the beautiful @blubearstudio🔵🐻 S/O to @paperboymediagroup for putting together this killer production; it was a privilege to be the DP on this project! #videoproduction #cinematography #directorofphotography by @paperboymediagroup
Swipe through some of our favorite frames from the second annual Toast Jam shoot with @toasttab — this year, filmed right at home in @blubearstudio 🏡 We took the Ghostbusters to another dimension with a Weird Science twist. Think bedroom laboratory & AI experiments gone right 🥼🧪🧫 We introduced “Ask TJ,” Toast’s first AI robot, brought to life with exploding props, glowing gadgets, and full-on chaos — all leading into a high-energy reveal on stage at their annual sales conference💥 Two sets. Over the course of two days, we conducted 10+ interviews across 4 different locations in Boston, and we think we made everyone look as amazing as the mission behind Toast.org🔵🍞 Toast.org is committed to tackling food insecurity, one of the most pressing global issues, by leveraging the power of Toast’s platform, people, and philanthropy. With nearly 30% of the world’s population affected by food insecurity, Toast.org is helping restaurants become changemakers, connecting them with guests and volunteers to support hunger relief efforts in their communities. 🍽️🤝 It was inspiring to hear from so many passionate individuals dedicated to making a real impact, from tackling climate issues like packaging waste to working towards a more equitable world where everyone has access to nutritious food🥑🥕 Swipe to see a few of the stunning moments captured during these heartfelt conversations. We’re grateful to be part of telling such an important story! 🌱 Producer / Director: @dir.matt DP: @varianography Gaffer: @perez_photovideo Audio: @jonmendelsound Editor: @guynez #ToastOrg #FoodInsecurity #HungerRelief #RestaurantCommunity #Philanthropy #EquityInFood #Sustainability #HealthyFoodForAll #AccessToNutrition #InclusiveCommunity #Changemakers by @paperboymediagroup
For the annual @plug.power.inc Symposium, we had the opportunity to create an engaging opening video that took inspiration from the iconic Spike Lee dolly shot. 🎬♻️ Our crew rolled a 40-foot dolly track through various areas of Plug’s new factory in upstate NY, pulling multiple employees on a mobile teleprompter. The result? A dynamic, high-energy intro that set the tone for an unforgettable event. 🚂✅ Swipe through to check out a few of our favorite frames from this project⏭️ Producer / Director / Edit: @dir.matt DP: @varianography Key Grip: @joshjames.mov Grip: @gaffodile_dundee Audio: @stevesklarow Data Wrangler: @editedbyparker #PlugSymposium #DollyShot #spikelee #FactoryTour #Teamwork by @paperboymediagroup
Get a glimpse into the creative journey behind @colorofgi Comin’ In Hot Podcast! 🎙️ This season was all about tackling serious health equity topics with a fun and engaging twist—making tough conversations accessible while keeping it fresh, current, and entertaining. This podcast dives deep into social determinants of health (SDOH) and explores the unique health experiences of BIPOC communities dealing with chronic illnesses like IBD. From mistrust in science to the ins-and-outs of research, we covered it all—and yes, we even got doctors and patients dancing and droppin’ the deuce! 💃🏾🕺🏽 Big shoutout to the incredible COGI team for letting us flex our creative muscles and bring this vision to life, and to our awesome co-hosts @melnbwithibd and @blkhlth for their energy and insight that made each episode unforgettable. 💥💩 We filmed 7 episodes across 4 jam-packed days in this custom set we created at Blu Bear Studios, and we couldn’t be more proud of how everything turned out. 🔵🐻 It’s a podcast that’s as important as it is entertaining! Check out the clips for a sneak peek into the first season, and don’t miss the full episodes! We were thrilled to cover the Community Conversations event at Delaware State University, hosted by @colorofgi 🎓💩 Our talented DP, @varianography, was on the ground capturing this powerful one-day event, which dives deep into health and wellness discussions within Black and Brown communities. COGI’s mission is incredibly important, and we’re proud to be a part of their journey as they bring these essential conversations to different HBCUs across the country. Health is a community-wide conversation, and this event explored how culture influences our understanding of health, touching on crucial topics like gut health, mental health, and IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease), which is often under-diagnosed in Black patients. It’s always a challenge being a one-man-band on these quick-turnaround projects, but we’ve mastered the art of capturing impactful moments no matter the size of the crew. 💪 Check out the carousel to see some of our favorite frames from the day, and don’t miss these ongoing, important discussions on health and wellness. Let’s talk about gut health, mental health, and culture—together, we can make a difference. 🌍💬 Producer: @dir.matt Shot & Edit: @varianography #CommunityConversations #COGI #GutHealth #MentalHealth #IBD #HBCU #HealthIsACommunityConversation #EventVideo #Wellness #HealthAwareness #DelewareStateUniversity #VideoProduction #HealthEducation by @paperboymediagroup
