🇧🇭 THANK YOU BAHRAIN 🇧🇭 - 'Bahrain Blues XL' 🇧🇭🌀 ✂️Paper Art ✂️

This paper illustration is titled 'Bahrain Blues XL'. This artwork is created with a perspective of an artist astronaut of how the beautiful island of Bahrain looks like, from a satellite view. This is a precise map of Bahrain in 2024.

This art is made using different layers of white paper, which signifies cleanliness and purity in Bahrain's culture and beyond. The use of blue tinted transparent sheets between different layers of white paper, creates a blue colored gradient, such that the layer at back is a darker blue and the layer on top of it is light blue in shade and so on. This creates a sense of depth and dimensionality that makes the artwork come alive. Blue color also represents the sea surrounding Bahrain and the sky above it.

The intricate details in the elevation layers represent the natural beauty of Bahrain’s landscape. The artwork is a tribute to Bahrain’s rich culture and history, which has been shaped by its unique location at the crossroads of civilizations.

✂️ Paper Art - "💗Reflections of the Soul💗" (Patrika Gate, Jaipur)

The reflection represents the idea of looking within oneself to find one's inner beauty and potential. The Patrika Gate is not only a physical structure, but also a symbol of the vibrant and diverse history and culture of India. By reflecting on it, I hope to inspire others to appreciate their own roots and identity, as well as to explore new perspectives and possibilities. My paper art is a celebration of creativity, diversity, and self-discovery.

Inspired from a beautiful photograph of 'The Patrika Gate' by @manmauji_yayawar (do check out his work 🙏🏼)

"GOOD BOY"
(a paper sculpture about love, loyalty, and the wounds we leave unseen)

We call them Good Boy. We teach them to obey, to wait, to trust, to love unconditionally. They become part of our lives, our routines, our families. And sometimes, when they are no longer convenient, we leave them behind.

Good Boy is a life-sized, low-poly bull terrier sculpted from white paper, exploring love, loyalty, and the pain of abandonment.

Its faceted body carries words in English and Arabic - promises, apologies, commands, and expressions of affection - cut into its paper skin to reveal red gears beneath.

These creatures are treated like machines: used and discarded. Now, their inner workings stand exposed and vulnerable.

"The words become the wound....
And the gears behind them become the dog's exposed mechanism"

Through Good Boy, I invite viewers to look beyond the surface and confront a difficult question: What does loyalty mean when it is not met with responsibility?

Because the tragedy is not that a dog loves us unconditionally.

It is that we sometimes take that love for granted.

🌀Order in Chaos – Blue Earth 🌀

This piece in the "Order in Chaos" series explores the paradox of randomness and interconnection through a tactile, gear-based composition. The canvas is layered in seven tones of blue with spontaneous, fluid brushstrokes that evoke the restless depth and movement of water. Across this liquid field, eight shades of paper gears are layered, producing a sense of flow and mechanical rhythm.

Each gear is affixed to subtly protrude and cast shadows, transforming the surface into a kinetic relief. The overlapping gears imply currents, tides, and the hidden mechanisms that move oceans and time. Blue, as the colour of water and vastness, anchors the work in ideas of fluidity, memory, and collective motion, while the gears reflect the artist’s lifelong fascination with machinery and the poetry of precision.

It is both a tribute to the artist’s roots in scale paper modeling and a bold declaration of his evolving legacy

⚙️ The Feminine Engine ⚙️ - because even in the wildest chaos, SHE is the order.

Dedicating this art to all the Mothers our there, Happy Mother's Day ♥️

"If you look closely at the machinery that moves the world, you will find that the most critical components are often the ones bearing the most weight.

In The Feminine Engine, this symbolism finds its most powerful subject: The Woman.

This artwork challenges the viewer to look past the surface. The composition is built on a topography of hundreds of individual gears - digitally drafted and precision-cut, then physically raised from the canvas to create a living, breathing depth. These gears overlap and interlock to depict the emotional architecture provided by women.

The color palette is a deliberate narrative of evolution and power:

The Foundation: Deep in the layers lie Teal and Deep Purple, grounding the engine in Wisdom, Balance, Royalty, and Independence.

The Drive: Interwoven is Bronze, symbolizing the hard-earned Success and Recognition that forms the structure of the engine.

The Radiance: Rising to the surface are Vibrant Fuchsia and Cream, exploding with Passion, Confidence, Purity, and Clarity.

The Future: Finally, shimmering touches of Light Gold and Silver catch the light, representing Brilliance, Innovation, and eternal Progress.

Chaos is the natural state of the universe. But the 'Feminine Engine' does not fear chaos; it organizes it. It turns noise into melody. It turns friction into motion.

You are looking at a system. A system that represents the indomitable spirit which holds families, societies, and nations together. It is a reminder that even in the wildest chaos, she is the order."

⚙️🇧🇭The Shared Engine of Progress🇮🇳⚙️ - "Where art meets diplomacy" . My absolute honour to unveil my work for the Indian Embassy in Bahrain on the occasion of 77th Republic Day of India 🇮🇳🇧🇭

Title: The Shared Engine of Progress (2026)
Medium: Acrylic, with Precision-Cut Archival Paper Gears on canvas
Dimension: 90 cm Diameter (circular canvas)
Art Description:

"The Shared Engine of Progress" is a kinetic metaphor for the enduring diplomatic and cultural partnership between the Republic of India and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The circular artwork is visually divided into two distinct hemispheres of vibrant activity. The left hemisphere is a dense, randomized assembly of Red and White gears, representing the industrious spirit and national identity of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The right hemisphere mirrors this energy with an intermixed collage of Saffron, White, and Green gears, symbolizing the diverse strength and dynamism of India.

The use of gears as the primary medium is intentional. A gear cannot function in isolation; it requires connection to create movement. The hundreds of individual gears here represent the people, commerce, and cultural exchanges that define both nations.

While the colors celebrate distinct national identities, the artwork’s focal point - a precision-cut Navy Blue "Chakra" placed centrally over the junction, unifies the composition. In Indian philosophical thought, the Chakra represents the 'Wheel of Duty' (Dharma) and eternal motion.

In this context, the Chakra serves as the central hub, bridging the two nations. It is the shared axle that translates the individual energies of India and Bahrain into a unified, forward momentum. The artwork stands as a permanent testament to the belief that our histories are interlocked, and our future progress is a shared endeavor.

ARTWORK DESCRIPTION:

This piece in the "Order in Chaos" series explores the paradox of randomness and interconnection through a tactile, gear-based composition. The canvas is layered in shades of red, orange, and amber, applied in loose, energetic brushstrokes that evoke heat rising and molten movement beneath the surface. Across this burning field, layers of paper gears in fiery tones are placed, producing a sense of intensity and mechanical combustion.

Each gear is affixed to subtly protrude and cast shadows, transforming the surface into a kinetic relief. The overlapping gears imply eruption, transformation, and the volatile mechanisms that reshape the Earth from within. Fire, as the element of change and renewal, anchors the work in ideas of intensity, destruction, and rebirth, while the gears reflect the artist's lifelong fascination with machinery and the poetry of precision.

It is both a tribute to the artist's roots in scale paper modeling and a bold declaration of his evolving legacy. "Built by the same hands that once folded paper into machines, this work asks: what if the machine was always alive?"

ARTWORK DESCRIPTION:
This inaugural piece in the 'Order in Chaos' series explores the paradox of randomness and interconnection through a tactile, gear-based composition. The canvas is painted in seven shades of green acrylics using spontaneous brushstrokes, evoking the organic unpredictability of #nature. Over this #abstract terrain, eight shades of paper gears are layered, creating depth and motion.

Each gear is affixed to subtly protrude and cast shadows, transforming the surface into a kinetic relief. The interplay of overlapping forms suggests clockwork, ecosystems, and the invisible mechanics of time and growth. Green, the color of Earth, anchors the piece in environmental symbolism, while the gears reflect the artist’s lifelong fascination with machinery and the poetry of precision.

It is both a tribute to the artist’s roots in scale paper modeling and a bold declaration of his evolving legacy 🙏🏼
