THE LONG NATIONAL NIGHTMARE - FULL ALBUM - OUT NOW “My fellow Americans, our long national nightmare is over.” - Gerald Ford, Inauguration 1974. The third record is on all streaming platforms NOW! This one was a real treat to record back in December. As always Frank Dorman (@fritz_dorman) brought the project to life as producer, arranger, mixer, & master-er. I love making music with Frank because we have fun doing it. This is some of his best work. The record sounds great, and the keyboard parts are incredible. We had the good fortune to record in The Pines Studios at the home of Richard Troxell, Lisa Lovelace, & their family. They were kind enough to host us for a few days as we put the record together. Without them, this album would not exist. On top of our wonderful hosts, we had a full band to collaborate with! The Jamboree Band is comprised of a bunch of friends who came together to make the record with Frankie and I. Brian Fatool on lead guitar, David McKee on drums, & Brian Pezzuti on bass(along with Frankie on everything else) made up the core of the band, and their insights and additions were indispensable to the sound and scope of this record. In addition to those four we had a bunch of specialists, such as PJ Witkowski who adds a magnificent solo to “Sue & Marie,” Lauren McKee who joined me on the lead vocal of “When You Were There,” & Richard Troxell who’s voice is featured on “Sewer Song.” Shane Troxell, Lisa Lovelace, Jacqui Barr McKee, and the aforementioned band members made up the entirety of The Coconut Chorus, featured on “Sue & Marie.” Duncan Wentzel once again outdid himself with the front and back cover design, evoking the political campaign posters of the 60s & 70s. He built the design around Lilian Feinberg’s caricature which captures all the sleaze I try to hide. The album wouldn’t sing if these folks weren’t involved. I hope you enjoy THE LONG NATIONAL NIGHTMARE, featuring songs of all stripes(and stars). From an ocean-creature revolution to the rats on Capitol Hill; from earnest ballads to irony-drenched foot stompers; from an honest account of religious belief, to a 17 minute folk song about the life, times, & lies by @pappypavlik
SEWER SONG - Out now where you stream your music. Get out the vote……. Thanks to Frank Dorman for arranging and producing this one, as well as playing a whole host of instruments, as well as Brian Fatool for laying down the excellent guitar work! Full Album forthcoming……. :) by @pappypavlik
I’m extremely honored to announce that my feature film with @pappypavlik, LARGER THAN LIFE, will be the closing film of the Centre Film Festival! We’ll be playing the historic Rowland Theatre in Phillipsburg at 3PM, November 8th! My most grateful thanks to @palinkapictures and the team at @centrefilm ! LARGER THAN LIFE is a hilarious, frightening, high stakes chase, as two idiots are pursued by a demon Toyota Prius across Appalachia. It’s a story of faith, music, friendship, storytelling, evil hybrid cars, martinis made with too much vermouth, and g-g-ghosts?!? This was two years of a labor of love and I’m finally excited an audience can finally see it! Purchase your tickets at the link in my bio! by @pappypavlik
Here’s a folk song I wrote earlier this year called “Just To Know I’m On Your Mind.” Enjoy! by @pappypavlik
Here’s another original. I had the title for quite a while. I read “The Count of Monte Cristo,” and couldn’t get the “Crisco” rhyme out of my head. The song eventually popped out when I was in Nashville in April. I hope you enjoy! by @pappypavlik
Here’s me singing an original song “Have A Little Love On Me Love” from my record BLUE BOY at Lounge Triple Six in NYC last month! (@loungetriplesix). The record and song are available anywhere you can stream music! by @pappypavlik

🎭 FROM WADSWORTH TO FRANK-N-FURTER… TO BARBRA’S BASEMENT?! 🛒✨ You’ve seen him command the stage with a candlestick, cause a scene as the Old Man, and completely rock a pair of fishnets. Now, Millbrook favorite Jackson Pavlik is taking on his biggest challenge yet: a one-man tour de force in the Poorman Cabaret! Press play ▶️ to look back at some of Jackson’s most iconic Millbrook transformations—from the manic brilliance of Wadsworth in Clue, to the hilarious grumpiness of the Old Man in A Christmas Story, to the unforgettable, high-voltage energy of Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show. This June, Jackson teams up with another beloved Millbrook legend, director Shannon Agnew (Mamma Mia, Every Brilliant Thing), for BUYER & CELLAR! Together, this powerhouse #Millelebrity duo is bringing you an absurdly funny, wildly fabulous, and surprisingly poignant look at what happens when a struggling L.A. actor gets hired to run a private shopping mall inside Barbra Streisand’s actual basement. 🛍️🏛️ With Jackson playing every single character, you know his comedic depth and unmatched range are going to bring the house down. You do NOT want to miss the show that officially kicks off our 63rd Season! 🎟️ BUYER & CELLAR by Jonathan Tolins 📅 June 5 – June 13 | Poorman Cabaret 👉 Grab your single tickets or use your Flex Pass! THE SPIRIT OF ‘76 had its world premiere this weekend in the historic CARPENTER’S HALL. It marks the first time I’ve fully produced and directed a full length original piece for the stage, and I couldn’t have asked for better collaborators to do it with. The cast and crew were exceptional, as were the audiences. Thank you to those who supported our little show. I’m excited to see where it goes next. BLUE BOY now available anywhere you stream music! My sophomore LP was a total labor of love, created with some great friends. Most of the songs were written last spring just after moving to Philadelphia. My dear friend, collaborator, producer, arranger, and musical wizard Frank Dorman(@fritz_dorman) graciously hosted the recording at his home in Vermont, and brought all of these songs to life, both in the room, and in the mixing booth after the sessions. Without Frank none of this music would sing. He, his talent, his time, his patience, and his kindness are the lifeblood of this record, and everything else we’ve made. My dear friend Maddy King(@maddydking) joined us in Vermont to record. Not only did she supply her vocals(check out our duet “I Haven’t Got A Lot(But I Know I Got You”), but she brought her artistic instincts, which allowed us to find a wholly new sound at the intersection of our tastes. She’s all over the record(her vocals at the end of “Ruby” being a highlight of the record) and she improves every tune she touches. My old pal Duncan Wentzel(@duncan_wentzel, @wentzel_designs) designed the beautiful cover and back cover. We did a small photoshoot back in September, and he took those images, and hand-drew the portrait on the cover. Frank had taken the picture of the moon to use for the back cover(with the Rabbit clearly in view), and Duncan spun it into the beautiful back cover. Duncan did the cover on the last record as well. It helps to have a friend as talented as Duncan. This is the most personal art I’ve had the pleasure to release. It feels strange that what has been mine for so long is now ours. I hope you enjoy BLUE BOY. by @pappypavlik
