How long do you usually keep a protective style in? 👀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Your hair IS growing, but you’re not retaining the length because you’re not trimming it 💇🏿‍♀️, moisturising it within protective styles 🧴, or taking protective styles out soon enough 🙃. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

A lot of hair products talk about amino acids, including this shampoo + conditioner, and honestly I never fully understood the benefits. Had a cheeky Google and turns out it's protein, which fills in weak spots along your hair strands (your hair is mostly made of protein) making it stronger and less prone to breakage. I followed up with a moisturising mask to bring back softness and elasticity, and I’d definitely recommend doing the same ✨

Where should we cut? A, B, C or D? ✂️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s completely normal to feel conflicted between keeping every bit of growth and trimming what needs to go. Hair isn’t “just hair”. It’s an extension of identity, personality and self expression. Every inch of new growth represents patience, self care and commitment to the journey.

Letting go of length can feel uncomfortable, especially when growth has been hard earned. But for true hair health, length retention and long term results, split ends have to go. Trimming isn’t a setback. It’s protection for future growth.

Why trims matter:
✨️ Length retention prevents splits travelling up the hair shaft
✨️ Healthier ends reduces breakage and thinning over time
✨️ Less frizz smoother ends create more defined styles
✨️ Easier styling curls, coils and straight styles fall better

So where should we cut? A, B, C or D? 👀✂️
