Hello, I'm French artist Parse/Error, creator of immersive installations, interactive experiences, light sculptures and connected artworks.

POSTS STORIES REELS

[FEATHERS] An aerial and organic system, ever evolving thanks to multiple data stimulus, influencing its colors, speed and movements. A real-time installation created with Touchdesigner, and staged in a virtual setup made in UnrealEngine5.

[SHOWOFF] As I've just reworked my whole website, here's a selection of my latest projects and experiments around immersive installations and interactive experiences. This compilation brings together my videos published on social networks, as a restitution of my R&D around real-time generative digital art as well as the creation of custom installations for institutions, clients or events. Unfortunately some of my latest projects are missing here, but I will share them as soon as possible of course!
----------
These projects were created using mainly Touchdesigner and Unreal Engine 5, as well as different type of sensors, but also Blender 3D or Chataigne.

Proud to finally unveil my latest creation! 🔥🙌

[Geometry of Emotions] is an immersive, interactive, and generative digital artwork, born from a collaboration with electronic/generative musician @mrlematt. A show specially imagined for @rxp.kl, the largest immersive art space in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur)!

Lasting 15 minutes, this experience is displayed in a massive immersive space and includes video projection on the floor and on three walls (20 video projectors), with spatialized sound diffusion (16 speakers). This entire creation is generative and interactive, capable of reacting in real time to the presence of spectators, thanks to a LIDAR sensor! [Geometry of Emotions] uses Unreal Engine 5 for the visuals, and Ableton / Max For Live / XP4L for the spatialized sound. The immersive space is based on a nDisplay system driven by Unreal Engine and Touchdesigner.

[Geometry of Emotions] offers a journey into the heart of our emotions in a world overwhelmed by digital technology, exploring the concept of the duality between geometry/organic, artificial/natural. Through a path intertwining geometric abstractions, figurative elements, and organic movements, this creation provides a contemplative sensory experience. Interactivity here offers the possibility of dialogue, allowing the spectator to influence the artwork and be influenced in return.

-> More information and pictures of the [Geometry of Emotions] project in my portfolio!

[TinyFluid] Having fun adapting a classic fluid sim algorithm to the famous CYD (for Cheap Yellow Display, a tiny touchscreen paired with an ESP32 microcontroller). Sometimes you don't need 5 video projectors and a massive room to play with generative and interactive art! The whole project is running at about 35fps on the esp32, as the USB cable is only used for powering the module.

[FILE Festival 2026] My interactive installation FEATHERS is currently on display at the 2026 edition of the famous @filefestival, bringing some amazing digital art to Sao Paolo! I'm proud to be featured among other incredible artists and installations, and the public reactions and feedbacks have been really positive. What I love so much in FEATHERS, is that each individual viewer explores their own ways to interact with it, creating a real dialog between their movements and the generated particles. A massive thank you to the festival team for the warm welcome and help on the remote setup! Photos by Camila Picolo.

[RESONANCE] Generative light art built into an interactive sculpture exploring the relationship between form, movement, and colors through a real-time generative system. RESONANCE is a study featuring a fully interactive setup in which the viewer becomes the direct creator of visual transformations via a physical control console, driven by WLed and @touchdesigner.

Composed of an array of aligned luminous volumes, the installation continuously generates geometric patterns that pulse, morph, and reconfigure according to algorithmic logics such as growth, repetition, and mutation. A set of buttons and sliders allows the public to directly manipulate the system’s parameters: speeding up or slowing down cycles, morphing shapes from an organic to a crystalline state, or shifting between color palettes. Every visitor gesture becomes a variable in the visual equation, transforming the exhibition space into a responsive, shifting luminous organism.

RESONANCE examines how light can inhabit and redefine a space, not merely as decor, but as a living medium capable of modulating the atmosphere through the interactions taking place within it. By allowing the public to engage with the machine, the artwork becomes a shared space of exploration where every configuration is unique and ephemeral.

[Propagation] Still playing with interactive lasers and video projection, generative particles, aligning and mapping them with Touchdesigner. Another quick project just for the fun to explore and prototype some ideas. 👀

[LaserFlowers] Another quick and fun experiment at the workshop while working on bigger projects, mixing lasers, video projection and smoke thanks to Touchdesigner. Mapping the two together is really interesting, can't wait to have time to dive more into it with more complex setups!

[LaserFluid] Experimenting with lasers, video projection and smoke in Touchdesigner, driving a fluid simulation with interactive beams of light. It's only a quick test for now, but the result already looks good! What do you think? 🙌 And yes, trying to film laser, video projection and smoke with a smartphone is already a challenge itself...

[EmotionalState] Work in progress on my interactive experience featuring my custom fluid solver, driven by hand tracking. I still need to refine the particle emission, general colors and tweaking the rendering, but so far so good! This interactive experience explores the explosiveness of emotions through color gradients and movement. Made with love in Touchdesigner.

[Explorer] Looking around a scene in real-time by controlling the camera rotation thanks to a Pipo Motion. This quick experiment is part of my summer R&D, playing with Touchdesigner and Unreal Engine to explore new ways to include interactivity into immersive experiences! (and frankly it's also just an excuse to play with all the amazing toys and tools I have at hand)
