Not a drone, but one from the archives from an elevated vantage point atop a massive Manhattan schist outcrop @centralpark

The Pond and Hallett Nature Sanctuary (originally known as The Promontory),are an oasis for migrating birds as the park is a stopover on the Atlantic Flyway. I have had the pleasure of working in the landscape of this area many times as I am a volunteer with the Central Park Conservancy. This image is easily recognizable as a Gapstow Bridge is a popular photo-op spot. by @passionfornyc

Although I won’t grabbing photos on Fourth Ave. Brooklyn today, I’ll still be rooting for all the participants especially my friend with whom I enjoyed walking with on Saturdays with The Racewalkers Club led by our epic coach Lon Wilson‼️ by @passionfornyc

Calling all American silent film fashion buffs‼️
Goddesses in the Machine:Fashion in American Silent Film @bardgradcenter showcases the first major exhibition to explore fashion in American film. It explores the transition from actors wearing their own clothes to donning creations by movie costume designers. You’ll be introduced to both famous and lesser-known designers such as Lucile, Madame Frances, Henri Bendel, Lady Duff-Gordon, I.Miller & more. A lovely selection of rare surviving objects, film stills, film clips, costume design sketches, & posters. by @passionfornyc

During the year beloved Fred Lebow resides here at the E.90th St. entrance @centralparknyc, but has a special place at the finish line for the @nycmarathon
