anti-oppressive care should not be a niche. it should be the baseline. 😭😭

Find your path, deepen your practice, and step fully into your authentic voice. ✨

Rooted in classical yoga philosophy and community care, our upcoming Yoga Teacher Training starting September 7, 2026 at Holistically Whole Yoga School is designed to be deeply authentic, rigorous, and accessible. 🌿

Led by D. Javi Vason (E-RYT500, C-IAYT), this training meets you where you are—offering flexible online and hybrid options for the 200-Hour YTT and a cohort-based immersion for the 300-Hour Advanced YTT. ✨

We believe that high-level professional education shouldn’t be locked behind rigid economic barriers.

If you are a resourced ally or community member looking to actively redistribute wealth and fund equitable access, you can contribute directly to our Community Fund! ✊🏾

Since I stopped providing direct care, I’ve been reflecting on what it means to remain a therapist, to care about this work, and to choose a different path than sitting in the therapist chair.

I’m sure I’m not the only one thinking about how our skills & care can show up outside of providing trad therapy…

Are there other therapists or mental health professionals working outside of direct care right now?

I’d really LOVE to hear about what you’re doing and how you made that transition 🩷

Fly high my commie queen 🦋❤️😭

#dollyparton #communism by @pat.radical.therapist

I JUST KNOW you probably didn’t start your practice because you love dealing with unpaid claims, insurance portals, or sending yet another follow-up email 🫩

You opened it because you had a vision for how care could feel…more human, more accessible, more affirming, and more aligned with your values. But somewhere between supporting clients and keeping the whole operation afloat, you accidentally became the therapist, biller, receptionist, practice manager, social media manager 😭

I literally did it too 😩

That is a lot for one nervous system + capitalism loves it!!!

You deserve time to create, rest, dream, organize, care for your people, and be a person outside your practice.🌸

I offer values-aligned billing, virtual assistance, and practice management support for therapists, healers, and community-centered organizations.

I want help you focusing on care, while I care you 🌸

Hey, y’all! If you’ve noticed that this page has been pretty quiet, ya girl has been navigating depression and a lot of grief since closing @liberatorywellnessnetwork .

I’ve needed some time to rest, process, and figure out what comes next.

I’m coming to my IG community because I’m currently looking for a part-time or contract remote position. I am based in NC, but open to US remote work.

I’m taking a break from providing individual therapy, but I’m open to opportunities involving ESA/PSD evaluations and letter writing, care coordination, clinical assessments, consultant roles, coaching, utilization review, intake and admissions, or behavioral health practice management.

I am very open to non-profit roles as well ❤️

If you know of an organization that is hiring or someone I should connect with…

I would deeply appreciate you sending the opportunity my way or sharing this post. 💛

Join us this Thursday, March 12, for our workshop "Beyond Buzzwords" on decarceral approaches to suicide and documentation.

Comment “RADICAL THERAPIST” for the registration link (or find it in my bio).

We’re really excited about this workshop and would love to have you there! by @pat.radical.therapist

I saw a post the other day that I was CERTAIN was satire, looking at how we can constantly help people refocus on their individual circumstances and what's within their control. The nuance of this, as always, is that every conversation CAN be valuable and CAN be relevant—but far too often, conversations in healthcare place immense blame and responsibility in the individual, rather than sitting with grief and anger about the systems we operate within. Healthcare policies and procedures will always cater to the dominant political and economic system, and we see that in therapy every day.

There are 5 SPOTS LEFT for our upcoming training in April! Sick of not having real conversations? @strongeruwellness and @kaitlin_therelatabletherapist are holding a 2-day immersive retreat that features a gathering of values-aligned practitioners from across disciplines— committed to care without punishment and elevating people’s agency!
