You have applied makeup on your face, but have you made up your mind to follow Christ?.
Just as makeup can transform or/and enhance from without, so does Christ transform and enhance from within.
The biggest difference is that it's a daily thing, even hourly, even per minute, and per second. This is not a transformation or enhancement that can be wiped or washed off by water. It is permanent. He transforms from the inside out. If you let Him and give yourself to Him♡. Trust in His good pleasing and perfect will❤️

"And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."~Romans 12:1-2 NLT

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will.~Romans 12:2 NIV
