The “Judy at The Palace” pants — my latest project! Inspired by Judy Garland’s famous pantsuit worn during her concerts between 1967 and 1969, the suit was originally designed by Travilla for the film “Valley of the Dolls,” in which Judy was supposed to appear. Judy withdrew from the film, but was gifted the suit, which clearly became a favourite.

To celebrate my 25th birthday, I wanted to pay tribute to one of Judy’s outfits, having recreated the poppy dress (as a pantsuit) for my 21st birthday. The pants I made consist of tens of thousands of beads, sequins and stones and weigh a ton. I decided to pair them with a green shirt to match the scarf Judy would wear with the suit, and ditched the jacket to create a look more suited to my own personal style.

I am very happy with how they turned out — and a big thank you to everyone who supported this little project, and to my pal Dylan for helping make it happen.

It was the honour of a lifetime to have been invited by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to spend some time up close with the original ruby slippers from “The Wizard of Oz”. It was even more special to have experienced it with my friend @vanziipper, whose grandmother happened to be the little girl who wore them, Judy Garland. After 86 years, the slippers still hold their magic and sparkle and are undoubtedly the most beloved piece of film memorabilia in existence. Vanessa, it was so special sharing this moment with you. by @judygarlandarchives

In Memory of Rosie (2012-2025) When I was a kid I didn’t have many friends so the idea was thrown around to get a puppy so I’d have one. Rosie came into our lives and became the jewel of the family. She was famous for her insane love for cheese, which she could smell a mile away, her snoring, her love for belly rubs and excitement when she’d hear a knock at the door. Rosie’s favourite times were when friends would come over for pre’s, she would jump on everyone and sit at their feet until they’d sneak her some cheese. She knew all my secrets, was always there when I felt I had no one and was the perfect best friend. Her leaving us has left a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. I don’t think I will ever be able to get over the fact that I was not able to be with you during your last moments. I would give up 10 years of my own life to give you another 5. I will love you Rosie forever and ever. I truly don’t know what I will do without you. I wish you could’ve lived forever, but even that would not have been enough.
