Ah, I lied, there is one more #vinyl relic. My absolute favorite #coil / #peterchristopherson #peterchristophersonakasleazy side project. I thought I missed it for a fair price. Nope. Got it sealed for exactly what I would have paid for the original release, which came out when I was too broke to even consider it. Success! by @pawlrusmaximus

Alright, final addition to the #vinyl archive I had to grab while it was still cheap, #pigdestoryer ‘s first album. You get the bizarre intro track instead of an ear assault this time :). Now, back to just obsessing over comics while I save for an amp and speakers. by @pawlrusmaximus

Another absolute creme de la creme BANGER ON FIRE has been added to the archive. My favorite #dyingfetus album of all time. #vinyl by @pawlrusmaximus

Pretty damn good comic week. This week’s heavy hitter was #deptoftruth. by @pawlrusmaximus

#itdemandssacrifice took the metaphorical cake this week, #badideapress rarely misses. And the preview for “A Good Boy,” sold me hard.

#ifdestructionbeourlot had a great joke nsfw cover I can actually share lol.

Eye collector is making more sense and staying strange as fuck, I adore it and it has soo many amazing variant covers I have to obtain.

#bugwars also took the cake partially from the goat comic…it takes itself so very seriously, and it fucking WORKS.

Chip Z brought it home in this leadup to the new avengers, and I am in the best possible place: glad I fucking jumped on. It really pays to follow certain writers :).

#startrek holo-ween 2 is meh. I’ll finish it tho.

Weekly wave surfed! by @pawlrusmaximus

I thought I would never catch this Pokiman: a new magic square enters the #vinyl #archive! Good thing the Coil wing of the archive grows as large as it needs to be to fit every record, so no worry there! I think I finally settled on a good ritual for these record pics finally. Lay it flat where I lay my comics and get both front and back, cause damn was the back of this record hiding some beauty. by @pawlrusmaximus

Alright, time to blow your ears off with the other extreme of my aural obsessions, #cattledecapitationband #terrasite has been accepted into the #vinyl #archive. And in my absolute favorite format, double 12 inch 45s :). Still mad I missed Death Atlas (blame poverty) on wax and it’s expensive now. That and possibly Humanure are the only 2 records I think I am missing from these absolute masters. I need to search again to be sure about Humanure tho, I feel like I bought it but it got separated from its brother records (I always bunch artists together). by @pawlrusmaximus

Alright, let’s lighten shit up a bit but keep the dial turned up to 11 in the “problematic artist” department. I’ve waited 20 years for a proper vinyl release of this album, love it or hate it. I’m angy that they didn’t have Clarissa somehow to use as music on insta, but somehow I can find obscure Coil tracks from random editions of rare albums most all of the time. Whatever. This album is jam fucking packed with strange questionable candy.

#frankensteingirlswillseemstrangelysexy has been accepted into the #vinyl #archive. Sound the rusty trombone!

Fun fact: this album’s tracklist is in alphabetical order. by @pawlrusmaximus

Another special square added to the #coil #vinyl archive. I do not miss the days when this chorus went through my head all day as a demand, despite “god” having already fucked my mind from the beginning. The Cold Spring Backwards is still my fave by far, but I hold The New Backwards right above Ape of Naples in the backwards hierarchy. Controversial to some. by @pawlrusmaximus

Another fancy square added to the archive, one I had resigned myself to never owning. These #coil #vinyl represses are going to show up a lot here for a bit as I chase everything of theirs that became too rare and expensive. I ordered a second copy…you’ll see why when it arrives. by @pawlrusmaximus

#spawn77 really took the cake this week, that was a damn good issue.

#doompatrol is doomin’s along. That variant cover makes me happy af.

#nicehousebythesea had a very satisfying conclusion.

Grabbed a clean sabrina A cover.

#youllneverleavethisplacealive has a fucking sick premise and I am more than on board.

Wave surfed. by @pawlrusmaximus

Weekly comic wave surfed!

#fluxhouse was sick as fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. That last story especially about a time before language…mmmmhmmmm.

#sabrina was a nice light fun read so far. I’m lightly miffed about the ding on my A cover I didn’t catch in-store, and the apparent printing defect on the silver foil cover…multiple perfectly horizontal lines across every copy I’ve found, most obvious at top or bottom leaning angles, and with LED light, so I can’t hang it, all I will see are the lines. That’s the rub with foil comics sometimes. They are the most fragile and unforgiving subjects, and as you see, nearly impossible to get a good pic of. It’s either no light, or all light reflected back at u. I may grab a clean A cover if the urge is still there and I see a clean copy on the rack next week.

#crowbound is making some more sense, but still hasn’t fully revealed itself.

#beneaththetreeswherenobodysees halloween special was wonderful and lengthy. I got two copies of that chainsaw massacre cover, I love it that much.

#startrek holo-ween 2 is alright so far.

concrete was solid, heading towards a satisfying ending. He’s all affliction, complicated power, as usual. by @pawlrusmaximus
