Greetings Alumni, Collegiate Brothers, and Advisors of Georgia,
My name is Bro. Charles Phillips, and I am honored to serve as your 2025–2027 State Director of Collegiate Affairs.
I ran on the platform “Back to the Basics,” a vision centered on reaffirming the foundational principles that have guided Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. since its inception. In today’s ever-evolving collegiate environment, it is critical that we revisit and strengthen the core values that bind us—Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service.

“Back to the Basics” is more than a slogan; it’s a strategic roadmap. It calls us to rejuvenate our commitment by blending time-tested traditions with innovative solutions to address the challenges faced by our collegiate members today. By embracing this approach, we will ensure that every Sigma—from the newest initiate to the most seasoned alumnus—has a clear understanding of our mission and the tools to contribute meaningfully to the Fraternity’s continued growth and impact. This initiative is not simply a reflection on our past, but a purposeful step toward securing our future. We must all work to ensure that Phi Beta Sigma continues to thrive and inspire generations to come.

I was initiated into Phi Beta Sigma in Spring 2009 through the Delta Omicron Chapter and have experienced firsthand the power of our collegiate journey. In my most recent leadership role as President of the Kappa Alpha Sigma Chapter(Stone Mountain, GA), I remained deeply committed to mentoring and supporting the heart of our organization—our collegiate brothers.

In the coming weeks, my committee and I will be introducing new methods of engagement for both our collegiate brothers and advisors. We are steadfast in our commitment to excellence across the state of Georgia.

Let’s move forward—together. GOMAB

The Mighty Psi Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. proudly presents the 2026–2027 Executive Board. As the last single-letter chapter in Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., the Mighty Psi Chapter continues to carry a legacy built on Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service. This year, we step forward with a renewed sense of purpose, ready to lead with intention, strengthen our brotherhood, and continue building a chapter worthy of the legacy we inherited. The foundation has been laid. Now, it is our time to build it!

Take It To The Max!

Thank you, Brother Christian Ike Iloka of Beta Beta Gamma, and to the other undergrads who participated at State Leadership.

The evidence is in the numbers: we need the 18–25-year-old demographic to get out and vote. More importantly, we need to find more meaningful ways to engage them.

The answer is simple: we must interact with them in ways that relate to them, while also showing them the ways and the lessons of our past glory.

The Yoda and Luke Skyewalker days still exist.

From one simple question—“What can we do to elevate Social Action?”—a $10 pin from Heuy’s Son, an iPhone, and a mic, we were able to reach into:

1) Social Action
2) Education
3) Bigger and Better Business through our very own Black Spend Initiatives.

And what happened next?

We got to see these young, talented brothers step up to the plate. They knew when to put on that intellectual hat, but they also knew when to be playful, authentic, and themselves.

That is engagement. That is connection. That is the future.

And ultimately, we are a better fraternity for it.

$10.
That’s that’s MAYBE $2 gallons of gas.

Sometimes, the investment in our future starts with something as simple as showing up, listening, and giving our young brothers a reason to believe their voice matters.

The Collegiate & Advisor Roundup is one of the most important Collegiate Affairs events of the fall semester.

This is not simply another meeting.

This is where we bring our collegiate brothers and advisors together to have the conversations necessary to build healthier, stronger, more knowledgeable, and more sustainable chapters throughout Georgia.

The Roundup will focus on:

• Blu Print
• Risk Management
• Uniform System of Sanctions
• Chapter Culture & Brotherhood
• Collegiate Advisor Refresher
• Branding & Chapter Visibility
