I thought I was the ONLY one…. Glad to know @ericwhitacre shares the same sentiment. EVERYBODY wants to perform and be seen and feed off the energy of an audience, but that’s just NEVER been me. I didn’t choose music, it chose ME. Just because someone does something well doesn’t mean they SHOULD do it…Just because an audience likes you, doesn’t mean you SHOULD perform for them. And just because something has been perfected doesn’t mean it SHOULD be seen by others… “All things come of THEE oh Lord; and of THINE own have we given THEE”. Sometimes God is the only audience you need/desire - especially since it’s HIS gift anyway. I know humans don’t understand that concept - “where’s the fun in that? You should be sharing your gifts blah blah blah…” Give a bruh one ole rehearsal life and I’m good as a 7 No! #pdh #choral conductor #choirsstillmatter #rehearsal #music by @pdhinstitute
