The Monte Carlo is a sophisticated Manhattan riff that's been around since 1948. Rye whiskey meets herbal Benedictine and our PBP Aromatic Bitters for a delicious cocktail we can’t get enough of!

Our PBP Aromatic Bitters tie the whole thing together, adding depth and complexity that makes this a cocktail perfectly fit the vibe of a casino lounge …or your living room on a Wednesday evening 🥃

-2 oz rye whiskey
-½ oz Benedictine
-2 dashes PBP Aromatic Bitters

Ready to elevate your home bar? You can craft your own Monte Carlo by shopping our Aromatic Bitters (and all our other flavors!) at portlandbittersproject.com ✨ by @pdxbitters

Repeal Day calls for a cocktail with attitude, and our founder Cindy’s favorite Prohibition-era drink fits the bill. The Scofflaw is sharp and citrusy, especially with our PBP Orange Bitters, and the name comes from those who “scoffed at the law” and continued to drink through Prohibition. If that’s not a drink with attitude, we don’t know what is 😎 Mix one up for yourself at home with this recipe:

-1½ oz rye
-¾ oz dry vermouth
-½ oz grenadine
-2 dashes of PBP Orange Bitters

Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass, and sip as you savor the freedom to imbibe! by @pdxbitters

MY BLOODY VALHALLA

When the veil between worlds grows thin and the deceased call for tribute, answer with this elixir worthy of the warrior's hall 🍷⚔️

-½ cup shredded beet
-2 oz aquavit
-1 oz freshly strangled orange juice
-¾ oz maple syrup
-10 drops PBP Rose Bitters

Muddle shredded beet with aquavit in shaker (use coated muddler to avoid staining). Set aside for 5 minutes. Dispose of the bloody beet corpse. Strain into a cocktail shaker and add orange juice, maple syrup, rose bitters, and ice. Shake to death, double strain, and enjoy while vanquishing your enemies.

So excited to announce our bitters will be on the menu at the new @peacock.pdx! (Despite the excitement erasing my brain and failing to put any PBP in the shot…) Visit Issa, Kendra, Aaron and the crew in this much-loved Portland space. See you there for Landline Karaoke? by @pdxbitters
