By the grace of God I have finished my Masters in Christian studies after 1.5 years of full-time study. It has by far been the hardest 1.5 years of my life, killing parts of me that needed to die, as I jumped into the deep end of theology, biblical studies and academic writing. God used this degree to do a lot of refining and I praise Him for it - I wouldn't be who I am today without it. Feeling very very blessed by my family and glorious God and excited for what is to come!🎉🥰 by @peace_passmore
A song from the perspective of Mary Magdalene. This is one of my favorite songs I've ever written, telling the story of Jesus' disciple as she witnessed the resurrected Jesus - as told by the Gospel of John. "The Gospels call her Mary of Magdala to identify her with a place. We might also call her Mary of Golgotha, because she was there; she showed up for Jesus when almost no one else did." - Nijay K Gupta by @peace_passmore

My grandparents (the couple at the end in red and black) on the worship team in the beginnings of COC. My Nanny grew up in a musical family with a concert pianist for a mother, and my Grandad learnt how to sing from listening to Buddy Holly, nevertheless, they used their gifts for God. According to my mother, the story is that Clark wanted a strong married couple represented on stage. He picked a good couple - they are still married today. What a beautiful thing it is to stand on the shoulders of giants, people who played their part no matter how big or small. Every time I sing, I am reminded of them and the many others who paved the way for the future generations. Nanny and Grandad, I hope I make you proud. Australia for Christ! by @peace_passmore

In the midst of difficulty, I hear the whisper of the Holy Spirit saying stand! And I don't think it's just for me, but for many believers. Ephesians 6:13 Therefore, put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Lyrics: It's only a stone A pebble at most But it makes a ripple When faith makes the throw It’s only a stone Till hearts take ahold And choose to believe That God brings the blow Oh, let the mustard seed grow Let your faith rise like the sun at dawn In the name that is above them all Would you stand tall? It’s only a stone When it’s all alone But pair it with power And God only knows What only a stone Can break and bring low When God has the knee Of the passionate soul Stand Would you stand? When you’ve done everything to stand, stay standing #christianmusic #encourage #hope #standup #for #Jesus by @peace_passmore
