Happy weekend Fam ❤️ We all desire peace, yet living peacefully is the real challenge. Let’s decode it together. The Peace Code loading… 🗓 26th January, 2026 Save the date and be ready to get your copy. #peace #PeaceTalkWithMercy #thepeacecode #fyp #relatable by @peacetalkwithmercy
Every day, we are faced with choices that shape our lives, relationships, and communities. We must choose whether to fight or walk away, curse or bless, respond with violence or embrace dialogue, and spread hate or demonstrate love. These choices may seem small, but over time, they shape our reality and determine the kind of world we create for ourselves and others. At Peace Talk with Mercy, we believe that peace begins with the choices we make daily. Choosing peace does not mean accepting injustice or avoiding difficult conversations; it means responding with wisdom, choosing dialogue over violence, and seeking solutions that preserve dignity and build understanding. Today and every day, we call on you to choose the more honourable path. Let your words promote understanding, let your actions reflect compassion, and let your decisions contribute to a more peaceful society. Peace is not just something we hope for; it is something we choose, practise, and build together. #PeaceTalkWithMercy #ChoosePeace #PeaceFirst #DialogueOverViolence #BuildingPeaceTogether by @peacetalkwithmercy
ONE WEEK AGO, THE PEACE BOARD WAS INAUGURATED! We officially brought together passionate partners and volunteers who share a common vision: building a society where peace is not just an aspiration, but a way of life. We have boarded, and we’re getting ready for take-off! ✈️💙 Our journey is to move peacebuilding from the fringes to centre stage and make peace the culture in our homes, workplaces, communities, and nation. To all our amazing partners and volunteers, thank you for believing in this vision, lending your voices, and committing your time, expertise and networks, to this mission. Your contributions are already making a difference, and together, we will achieve so much more! The journey has begun, the mission is clear. The future is peaceful! #PeaceTalkWithMercy #ThePeaceBoard #fyp #ThrowbackThursday #cultureofpeace by @peacetalkwithmercy
A NEW CHAPTER IN OUR PEACE BUILDING INITIATIVE A few weeks ago, I put out a call for volunteers and extended invitations to some amazing partners to join the Peace Talk with Mercy initiative. And guess what? This Thursday, we’ll be having our onboarding meeting! I am deeply grateful to everyone who volunteered and to those who graciously accepted my invitation to be part of this vision. Thank you for believing in the dream. Honestly, I’m practically anxious 😬😂, but even more excited and expectant about what lies ahead! Something beautiful is taking shape, and I believe we are about to witness the beginning of something impactful. An unstoppable force for peace is about to take off! ✈️ 🕊️ Welcome aboard, Peace Fam! ❤️ #PeaceTalkWithMercy #PeaceFirst #Peacebuilding #MakingPeaceAReality #fyp by @peacetalkwithmercy
WELCOME TO A NEW WEEK, PEACE FAM! ❤️ Clarity is key for peace. Who are you? What do you represent? What drives you? What are your goals, and what were you created to accomplish? If you’re unsure of the answers, take some time for an honest inner search. The clearer you are about who you are and your purpose, the better you can navigate life with peace and intentionality. As we step into another week of impact, peace, and success, allow me to reintroduce myself to you! May we walk in purpose, make meaningful impact, and attain all that God has prepared for us in Jesus’ name. Amen! Have a peaceful and purpose-filled week, Peace Fam! #PeaceTalkWithMercy #PeaceFirst #PurposeDriven #NewWeek #MondayMotivation by @peacetalkwithmercy

“ALLOW OUR ELECTORAL PROCESS TO WORK!” Former INEC Commissioner, Festus Okoye, makes a passionate appeal to politicians at the 2026 International Day of Peace Commemoration. As Nigeria prepares for the 2027 general elections to elect leaders at the federal and state levels, conversations around free, fair, credible, and peaceful elections must remain a national priority. All stakeholders must play their part by ensuring that the necessary technology, personnel, and resources are effectively deployed to guarantee a transparent and credible electoral process that reflects the will of the people while safeguarding the peace, security, and safety of citizens. Political leaders must demonstrate responsibility, respect democratic principles, and allow electoral institutions to function independently and effectively. Because until an election is peaceful, there are no true winners. #PeacefulElections #Nigeria2027 #ElectoralIntegrity #PeaceFirst #PeaceTalkWithMercy by @peacetalkwithmercy

Turn up for Peace! My red carpet photo moments from the 2026 International Peace Day commemoration event by IPCR and partners. Remember to invest in peace for everyone, everywhere and everyday #peacetalkwithmercy #ipd2026 #fyp by @peacetalkwithmercy
Happy International Peace Day to everyone all around the world I earnestly wish our nation and world were absolutely at peace, then we will be marking the day with celebrations, fireworks and parties But rather it’s a day of reflection as the world seems to be at war and our nations terrorized. Still the day reminds me that peace is possible. This year’s theme is a call to action to Invest in Peace, for everyone, everywhere and everyday! What are the critical areas we need to make investments for peace 1. There’s a dire need to invest in people. The welfare of the people are the strongest indicator of a nation at peace. The people need access to the basic amenities needed for livelihood- Access to clean water, health care, affordable transportation, power, food, education and safety. 2. We need to invest in building platforms for dialogue that will resolve issues around our differences and make room for unity 3. The people must also make huge investments in peaceful narratives by rejecting hate speech, fake news, misinformation and disinformation This is a call for all.
