Meet our PEACHES Team ⭐️🤸🏼🩵 by @peaches.ot

Alvin checking out his new workplace 🐾

We’re spending time getting Alvin used to the clinic while it’s nice and quiet, so he can explore at his own pace (with lots of treats!).

There are lots of new things to get used to, including some big, funny-looking things like balloons! 🎈He did so well! by @peaches.ot

We all have different sensory needs! 🪣

Throughout the day, sensory experiences can fill or empty our buckets. Some of us need more sensory input, like movement, touch or sound, to feel calm and regulated. Others may become overwhelmed by too much input and need quieter, calmer experiences.

Our sensory needs can also change throughout the day.

The goal isn’t for everyone’s bucket to be full or empty, but to find the right balance for our individual needs. When we feel regulated, it’s easier to focus, learn, play and participate in everyday activities.

The little things that are actually BIG things 💛

How long should my child be able to focus on an activity?

We often get asked this question in sessions and is a big goal area for a lot of families. Here’s a quick guide to learn more about average attention span for children as well as, different types of attention🧐
