Sunny days, crisp air, and the first snow on the peaks. It’s been an exceptionally good fall in Whistler! We asked the team their favourite way to spend autumn:

🚲 Coach Tanya — mountain biking and trail walks with the pup, but really, anything in the cool crisp air
🪓 Coach Robbie — a cosy fire after a wood chopping session
🐶 Coach Mak — snuggling the dog with a hot cuppa after a long walk
🥾 Coach Meaghan — hiking to admire the fall colours, then some R&R at @scandinavewhis
🍂 Coach Hailey — bike rides, and dog walks among the beautifully coloured trees and leaves
✈️ Coach Marco — travel for sure, and locally, biking the Valley Trail
🏝️ Coach Kait — off-season travel, dinner deals and quieter hiking spots. She’s in the Philippines right now for some well-deserved time away!

Your turn: What’s your favourite fall activity? Are you still all-in for bike season? Maybe you’re enjoying the local fall dining deals around town? Or perhaps cuddling up with a book is more your vibe! Tell us in the comments 👇👇👇 by @peaktrainingwhistler

Visiting Whistler? Make training part of the trip plan 💪

Fernando and his wife trained with Coach Robbie [@coach_wilde_] during their month here, and they left stronger than they arrived. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a Google review, Fernando! We loved having you both in the studio.

Whether you’re in town for a few weeks or a whole season, our team will build a plan around your goals so you get the most out of your time here, with one-on-one coaching in a private studio.

Head to our website to read more, book your consultation or reach out with any questions.

Today officially marks the 8-week countdown to @whistlerblackcomb opening day. Are you ready?

Introducing PEAK PREP, our first-ever ski and snowboard specific online program, built by our kinesiologists and delivered straight to your phone. Start today and you’ll finish your last session right as the lifts start spinning.

Every fall we see the same thing: people hit the gym, do a thousand box jumps and call it ski prep. Jumping isn’t the problem. Jumping without a foundation is.

Peak Prep builds the whole picture: equal strength side to side, a posterior chain that balances out a summer of quad-heavy biking, a core that holds you steady through every turn, and landing mechanics trained before the jumps. You’ll test your baseline in Week 1 and see exactly how far you’ve come by Week 8.

Built for performance. Designed to reduce your injury risk.

Self-guided. Expertly programmed. Only $128 + tax.

Drop into opening day ready. Link in bio.

Both in-person rounds sold out! If you were trying to get into one and missed it — or you’re only just hearing about it now — the online course has been running the whole time, and it has no cap.

Here’s what’s actually in it:

Six weeks, three sessions a week, 45 to 60 minutes each, at whatever gym you already go to. Week one doesn’t even have a barbell in it — dumbbells and kettlebells, so you get the four movement patterns down before anything gets heavy. The bar comes out in week two, once there’s technique underneath it.

And every week has a lesson attached. Not just what to do, but why: tempo and rest times, what “training hard” actually means, warm-up sets versus working sets, nutrition, recovery. It’s the same curriculum we teach in the studio.

Every exercise has a demo video. Squat, bench press and deadlift get full technique breakdowns. Your weights are logged, so you can see the progress instead of guessing at it.

It’s self-directed, so there’s nothing to book and no sessions to make — you work through it on your own schedule, and everything you need is in the app.

It’s for anyone who wants to lift properly. Never touched a barbell? Perfect. Been training for years without ever actually being taught the lifts? Also perfect — honestly, that’s most people.

Start today, start in three weeks, start whenever you’re ready.

Lock in, babe. Link in bio.

UPDATE: Only one spot left! 🚨 We said round one was our only in-person course this fall… then it sold out in two days. Enough of you asked that we’ve added one more. We hear you loud and clear!

This one genuinely is the last until next year — and two of the four spots are already gone.
Babes & Barbells Foundations, round two.

Mondays this time: Sept 21, Sept 28, Oct 5 and Oct 12, 7:00–8:15pm at the studio with Coach Kait.

One thing to flag before you book: week four falls on Thanksgiving Monday. The class runs as scheduled, so if you’re away for the long weekend you’ll miss that session. Better to know now than in October.

Two spots. Starts Monday. Lock in — link in bio.

Our only in-person B&B cohort of the fall is open 💪

Here’s who it’s for: You’ve had a gym membership for a while. You do your cardio, maybe a class. And every time you walk past the squat racks you think I should probably learn how to use those — and then you don’t, because nobody’s ever shown you how, and it isn’t the sort of thing you can quietly figure out with people around.

That’s the entire reason this course exists.

Coach Kait keeps it to four people on purpose. With four, she can see every setup and fix it while you’re still under the bar — so you have eyes on every rep and the chance to ask questions you’ve been too scared to ask.

Tuesdays, Sept 15 – Oct 6. 7:00–8:15pm, in the studio.

Link in bio to secure your spot.

And if Tuesday nights are a no-go — Babes & Barbells Online is open year-round. Six weeks, your own gym, your own schedule. Everything’s on the website or check the link in our bio.
