Medical Outreach in a nutshell

When we spot a need, we cannot but move and find ways to offer help🤝The explosion of the Beirut port that took place on August 4, 2020 was the reason we started the Medical Outreaches.

The explosion left
▪300,000 individuals homeless
▪200 people dead
▪5,000 people injured
Seeing this, Sarine visited the houses near the area of the explosion. She was heartbroken💔seeing families who had either lost their homes or had serious damages in the structures of their houses. She offered maintenance work🛠related to carpentry👨‍🔧and aluminum doors installation.
With the financial crisis getting worse and worse📉and the COVID-19 pandemic spreading quickly, the Lebanese people were finding difficulty getting basic medical care.
It was at this time that the medical outreaches were lunched.

Pearl and Light is a Christian✝non-profit that aims to:
✔spread the❤️of Christ through providing medical care
✔make disciples of Jesus through offering healthcare and Christian education📚
We, at Pearl and Light, serve the Lebanese and the Lebanese-Armenian communities.
Following the example of the Lord Jesus, we work on providing the secondary need i.e., medication and basic medical care of the people, to make way and offer them their primary need, Jesus✝

Education is the🔑to success

Pearl Program unveiled!

The program offers🆓classes where basic nursing skills are taught👩‍🔬
The curriculum is comprised of 1️⃣0️⃣ lessons that cover basic health lessons accompanied with spiritual topics.

🙏We ask you to pray that the women increase in confidence💪, especially in the area of the spiritual topics.

In Hosea 4:6, God said: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”. We believe education is vital for the development of people and nations.
