Ever since I was a kid I've wanted an NA Miata. I've come close to pulling the trigger a few times over the years but never did. Last week, that changed. A "to good to be true" deal popped up I was not going to let slip away.

1990, Original Owner, never seen snow and had 27,492 original miles.

The best part... My mom found the deal. Thanks @mechapman33 😁. I've already put over 600 miles on it and don't plan on stopping (unless it snows 🙄) by @pedal.harder

$3,465 raised for St. Jude. ❤️

Thanks to everyone who donated, shared, and helped make the Cycledelic Endurance Challenge about more than riding a bike.

A few hours of suffering on a bike hits differently when you remember some kids don’t get to choose theirs.

Grateful we could turn those miles into something that matters.

Together, the event raised $97,057. If you want to help push that to a nice, round $100K, the link is below. 😉

I didn't explore anything new this Columbus Day but maybe next time I'll remember to clean the lense.

But did you see that sunset??? by @pedal.harder

Just because you can doesn't mean you shouldn't...

Or something like that.

Emonda ALR Palmarès resurrected as a 1x with ridiculous (and temporary) Cadex wheels. Those wheels will be for sale as soon as I find replacements because I am no where near cool enough for them. by @pedal.harder

Night rides ... Lumens > Stats by @pedal.harder

The last official Monday Night Ride of the season was tonight, and we went out with a fun (and a little goofy) route that included crossing the river twice, neighborhoods, and a few questionable alleys.

Because apparently the only way to keep roadies at the advertised “social” pace is to make the route confusing enough that they can’t figure out where to attack. 😂

Peoria really does have a lot to offer when it comes to cycling, you just have to be willing to get a little weird with the route sometimes. 😉 by @pedal.harder

The sun is going down quicker, so it’s time to use your brain 🧠💡

Light up. Layer up. Keep riding. by @pedal.harder

Out of pure curiosity, I borrowed a new Gen 5 Domane for the last few days and put it through two group rides—65 miles one day and another 30 the next.

Honestly, I was pretty impressed. For a bike that’s marketed as an endurance bike, this thing did not slow when the pace picked up (unlike my lingering fatigue from the KEG on Friday 🤷‍♂️)

I am really curious what this bike would feel like on a longer (100mi+) "road" adventure... by @pedal.harder

KEG of Dirt is a challenge organized by @pambaofficialmtb and it consists of riding all eight trail systems while also riding to each one. This year, a few of us decided to do it a bit different and take our gravel bikes 😁

There was no agenda and no goal to beat, just a good time with like minded friends.

My bike choice was the Trek Checkpoint and let me tell you, this thing is a dream. I did a 65 mile road ride on Monday and then Friday took it on every mountain bike trail Peoria has to offer and it never skipped a beat. by @pedal.harder
