ICE and Customs and Border Patrol have hit communities in Los Angeles and the Inland Empire hard. We created an interactive data visualization map to figure out which neighborhoods they target, what time ICE is most likely to be on the street, and when agents go back to their bases.

The map plots every report People Over Papers has received from the Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties from January 20th, 2025 to April 17th, 2026.
This map serves as a visual representation of resistance. Since all data comes from community reporting, each dot displays a person taking action. While the mass dispersal of immigration enforcement is undoubtedly scary, this refusal to let ICE operate in the shadows is meaningful.

Yesterday’s victory belongs to the people!

And let’s be clear about what this victory means- the ballot box can open a door to change. It cannot do the work of getting us there.
Voting is a first, concrete step toward change. It is not the whole struggle, and it has never been a substitute for organizing.

Every victory from Alaska to Texas belongs to the people. No candidate gets to claim the work of those who knocked on doors, had hard conversations, challenged fear, and refused to give up on one another. And our movement includes people denied a vote whose labor and leadership make change possible.

As Benito once said, love is stronger than hate, and yesterday’s results showed us that. Because the work to produce the results that let us work toward change is a sign of the kind of love that refuses to stay quiet. This love is also the force we will continue to hold on to demand elected leaders take action and ABOLISH ICE!

We know that courage and love are the only things that stand between our neighbors and harm. Love that confronts white supremacy and refuses to accept violence against our communities as normal.

Now it is on us to turn every opening into pressure: demand action from elected officials, defend our neighbors, and keep building the power to change and abolish the systems that are killing our people.
We do not owe politicians our silence after an election. We owe our communities our continued commitment.

The easiest part is over; now it’s time to take the next step: invite one person to organize alongside you. Get connected. Support us if you can. And more importantly, make sure you follow through. We owe it to the children who came back from school to their parents being gone.

Voting is a beginning. Our long fight for us to keep our dream of true liberation alive, requires courage, radical love and collective work.

Say their names. 🌼🕯️

This Día de los Muertos, we are honoring the people who died in ICE custody and in enforcement this year — fathers, mothers, neighbors, each with a name.

🔗 We're here to build a world where no family is shattered by ICE. Join us at our next Welcome Call on Nov 18th at 7pm. Here or LINK IN BIO https://bit.ly/WelcomeCallDUFI

Since the start of last year, over 61 lives have been lost at the hands of ICE. This is the deadliest year on record.

Let’s remember that every life lost was a loved one - fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters. Their death leaves a hole behind in their communities. We’re here to remember them.

This Dia de Muertos is our chance to keep saying their names at a time when the administration is actively trying to erase their stories. Every candle lit, every photo placed, and every name spoken aloud refuses to let them be forgotten. It is a declaration that we see them, we remember them.

A person dies twice: once when they leave this world, and again when no one says their name.

We refuse the second death. by @peopleoverpapers

📣 GOVERNOR LAMONT: WE NEED ACTION, NOT JUST WORDS.

Governor Lamont has touted his support for Connecticut’s immigrant communities. But where is the action to match those words?

ICE has detained our neighbors, torn parents away from their children, targeted workers, and used violence against people in our communities. Families are facing devastating legal costs and struggling to meet basic needs when a loved one is detained.

Connecticut has the resources to act. We’re calling on Governor Lamont to create a $10 million response fund for legal defense and family stability, using the state’s emergency reserves to help immigrant families access lawyers, housing, food, childcare, and other essentials.

✅Our goal: 2,000 calls to Governor Lamont’s office during October 26–30.
☎️ Call now: 202-640-5612 ☎️

Tell the Governor: Connecticut needs action that matches his words. No one should have to fight deportation without a lawyer. No family should have to choose between legal representation and keeping a roof over their heads.

Last night, the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office released people from the Elmwood jail in Milpitas. They did not allow the people released to wait for their rides inside the lobby knowing that ICE had been there all day, inside the lobby, waiting for people to be released.

The sheriffs knew ICE had intentions of detaining the people released as soon as they walked out. At least 1 person fled and ended up in what we believe is Berryessa Creek.

That person was chased by ICE agents, sheriffs, and eventually tased. He was then taken to San Jose Regional Medical Center due to his injuries.

California has a strict ban on local law enforcement agencies collaborating or working with ICE for immigration enforcement. by @peopleoverpapers

10/28/26. how much evidence does an Attorney General need before they take action? What level of support do police departments need to offer ICE before Attorney Generals take action? ICE drives inside a restricted access area, the Woodland Police parking lot, which is restricted to the public, to transfer a community member from a kidnap vehicle to a Geo van. All under the watchful eye of Woodland police officers. Why isn't there more outcry about this? Why are so many of us silent? What is it going to take before we use our collective power to shut this shit down.#fuckice by @peopleoverpapers
